Nice holiday apartment

My son and I enjoyed staying at the property which was clean and comfortable.
It was very central and ideal for shops, restaurants and sights. The furnishings were new and attractive and the kitchen and bathroom hygienic and well maintained with good facilities ( although I am always slightly alarmed by continental health and safety issues concerning sockets and water). It is quite a small flat but was adequate for two of us and fine if you want to be out and about. Shower in en suite is lovely and nice lot of hot water.
Stairs were brutal after a long day but shallow and cool so probably just us being unfit, security was good as was waste collection and street safety nearby.
Some noise at night but is city centre so expected.
Dishwasher a bit unnecessary, and note no freezer box in fridge - we bought a box of ice creams before I checked.
Beds both comfy and fold-out was easy and neat.
Really no complaints....curtains could do with more rings and a pole to help close them, that's all really except felt management team (who were very helpful both prior to holiday and at greeting ) were a bit mean with amount of towels and T.towels...I think you need more than that for a week and it seems an unnecessary economy.
Basically a nice clean central flat ..ideal for 2-3 who want to explore the city for a week. I would and will recommend to a friend.
Restaurant -wise...Septembre 22 in Old Town is lovely and about the cheapest...Tat o Tatin (i think)the Creperie just down the street is reviewed in guides as inexpensive and delicious and great value for £..in our experience it was the complete opposite. Lovely pasta and pizza all over. kind of hard for us veggies but supermarket Casino quite handy and Nice Etoile centre cool and good deals for lunch.oh and do have a portion of Socca after a long walk..and then a ferrero rocher ice cream.
