Beautiful beaches and quiet coves abound within easy reach of the villa, and offer endless opportunities for swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling and water sports. Magnificent coastal walks take you to unspoilt beaches and coves where you can enjoy good food and relax over a glass of wine. There are 10 golf courses in the Costa Brava with magnificent scenery and wonderful settings to suit all tastes. The exciting cities of Girona and Barcelona are easily reached for a day of shopping and sight seeing, or visit the Pyrenees to enjoy walks in unspoilt countryside. The villa offers a quiet and relaxing location in a beautiful setting.

The villa is situated in a quiet pine clad valley with views of the Mediterranean Sea and the historic Begur castle. The beautiful beaches and coves of Sa Riera, Sa Tuna, Aiguablava, Tamariu, Calella and Llafranc are a short ride away. The historic medieval towns of Pals, Palau-sator and Peratallada are close by and also the ancient Greek and Roman temples in Empuries. Visit the Salvador Dali museum in Figueres, which displays many of his original paintings and works of art, for day trip with a difference. The beautiful city of Girona is only a 45 minute drive from the villa and Barcelona can be reached by road or rail in under 2 hours. The Costa Brava has ten golf courses offering different itineraries but all with spectacular and inspiring landscapes, for an exceptional golfing experience . A two and a half to three hour drive will take you into the beautiful Pyrenees mountains, for walking or skiing.

Notes: Casa Diana is a modern villa built to a very high specification and which is furnished to a high standard. The living area in the villa is all on one level, but it is accessed by steps from the drive. In addition to the large semi-covered terrace which is accessed from the lounge, the twin bedrooms have outside terrace (added October 2009) leading on to garden and pool. There is a top garden terrace which has sunshine all day long and lovely views down the pine valley to the Mediterranean Sea. This has minimal fencing and small children should be supervised at all times. Large garage with electric remote controlled door and additional parking for 2 cars. The drive is on incline and has an electric remote controlled gate. A full sized table tennis table is in the garage for the use of guests. There is a barbeque on the terrace. The villa has gas central heating and all french windows and patio doors have attractive electric shutters. The villa is fully double glazed.

Availability of cots for small children.: Travel cots can be provided if required. Shopping for guests arrival can be arranged by prior agreement, at the Agent's cost price.

Additional cleaning and laundry services.: The villa is professionally cleaned throughout between rentals. If guests would like additional cleaning services or additional changes of linen and towels, this can be arranged with the local agent at the time of booking, at the cost price.

Change over arrangements: To allow for cleaning, guests must vacate the villa by 1000 hours and access on the day of arrival is from 1600 hours.

We' 've just returned from a week at Casa Diana in late Octobre. We already knew the area, but this time we 've found the perfect villa. The approach to the villa is surprisingly steep and it's essential to have a car . It's the only surprise which one can't see in the photos, but this is the only negative remark one could make. We had a truly luxurious time. Every aspect of the villa is in beautiful taste and simplicity.and everything works like clockwork and it's all very relaxing. and wonderfully comfortable.The photos don't lie at all , in fact they don't do it justice.
There are an infinite number of staggeringly beautiful beaches , walks,villages and views everywhere.....even in Begur itself. We went out every day but we were only too happy to return "home"to our lovely,comfortable villa in the evening. We found it all very child friendly for our 10 year old We found everything beautifully clean and easy to clean afterwards and Diana was very helpful, pleasant yet perfectly professional.We have recommended it to everyone we know and will definitely return often to Casa Diana

Great location, Beautiful views - Highly recommend

Just come back from a wonderful week at this modern and comfortable villa. Loved the views from the garden and balcony and the views were just as good from all the bedrooms. Found the villa very restful and a pleasure to be in. The sunbathing terrace behind the villa is very tranquil and our children saw it as their 'Den'. Don't think the villa would be suitable for toddlers, although a gate from the terrace would bring peace of mind. Begur is a lovely old spanish town with a lively square and the local beaches are as good as any in the area.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
