2 Bedroomed apartment on the cliff tops overlooking the bay. Just five minutes walk from the centre of Mevagissey, or in the other direction the sandy beach at Portmellon with safe bathing. One bedroom with double bed, and one bedroom with twin beds. Open plan kitchen with dining area and lounge, private patio or balcony. There is a single sofa bed in the lounge. Bathroom has toilet, basin and shower. All rooms (except the bathroom!) have fantastic unobstructed sea views across the Bay. Beautiful sunrises, or watch the moon shimmering over the water. Dolphins and seals are frequently seen.

Mevagissey is ideally located for exploring Cornwall, mid way on the beautiful south coast. Just 5 minutes walk (500yds) from the picturesque harbour at Mevagissey with its restaurants, pubs, shops and art galleries, and the sandy beach at Portmellon with safe swimming and free public slipway. The Eden Project is just 10 miles away, and The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Pentewan Cycle Trail are 2 miles. Take the ferry from Mevagissey to Fowey for an interesting day out, or visit National Trust properties. Beautiful cliff top and countryside walks (we are on the coastal footpath). Ideal for an active holiday or a tranquil break. The Tate at St.Ives, The Maritime Museum in Falmouth and the beautiful waters of the Carrick Roads, Lands End, The Minack theatre or the surfing beaches on the north coast are all within 45 minutes - 1.5 hours drive, but there is so much to see in the immediate area you do not have to go far!

Situated in a superb location above the bay, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here; loved sitting on the balcony watching the fishing boats and all the other wildlife - beautiful vista! The apartments are reasonably sized & well equipped, we had four adult sized people in our party (which really is probably the limit for the space). Never felt overcrowded especially with the balcony area to sit out on (weather permitting).
Typical small fishing village roads to negotiate in Mevagissey - takes some getting used to - eventually you get to know the 'passing places' although you can take a longer route around to avoid the tight roads (helpful owners direct you).
Perfect location for ambling down to Mevagissey (esp beautiful at night) with its superb restaurants and shops etc or take similar stroll the other direction to the tiny Portmellon beach & pub. Also a good base for exploring other areas & attractions of Cornwall e.g. Penzance, the Poldark Mine (great) the Eden project (crowded nightmare!).
A great holiday location.

We would like to take this opportunity to say how much we enjoyed our stay in the Treloen Holiday apartment in Mevagissey over the bank holiday weekend. The views from our balcony apartment were fabulous and we found it very relaxing to watch and hear the sound of the waves rolling onto the beach into the craggy coves from the cliff top. The spacious wooden decking furnished with a patio table and chairs had great panaramic views of the sea, cliffs, beaches, coves wonderful Cornish cottages and white houses dotted on the opposite cliff side. It was so peaceful all we could hear were the sounds of birds twittering mingled with the sea. The apartment was very comfortable and ideal for 2 adults to sleep with modern lounge with leather seating and dining table, chairs and TV with a fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, grill and microwave, sink and plenty of cupboards with a full range of plates, glasses, cutlery, utensils, kettle pots and pans. There was adequate space to put food in cupboards and there was an inside window by the sink and cooking area. When we fancied a night in with a bottle of wine we sat in the dining/lounge area next to the large patio doors watching the sun set and watching the local fishing boats lite up the sea coming back after a busy day out at sea. In the daytime we watched tiny sail boats and luxury yachts pass by and on the horizon both inside and outside our apartment. The bedroom was very cosy but had plenty of room under the bed and in the wardrobe/ chest of draws beneath with again fantastic views from the very large bedroom window. During the night we left the curtains wide open so we could see the night sky with stars and moon lighting up the night! We requested bed linen at a small cost which was freshy washed and ironed and the shower and bathroom was very clean and tidy again with a small window. The owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome giving great recommendations of local restaurants, cafes and shops. The one restaurant we sampled in Mevagissey harbour side we tasted 5 different sorts of freshly caught fish and it was superb melting in your mouth. The local pasty shop cooked delicious pasties and there were convenient stores all only were a five minute walk from the apartment. We believe we tasted the best ever fish and chips in Cornwall which of course we sampled too. We hope to return back again to enjoy the facilities again and will recommend these apartments to our friends and family. Thank you

Die Wohnung ist sehr hübsch, die Schlafzimmer sind klein, jedoch sauber. Die Küche enthält die nötigsten Dinge, jedoch müssen Abwaschutensilien mitgebracht werden. Das Dörfchen ist hübsch und sehenswert, wird auch von vielen Touristen besucht. Dadurch sind die Preise für Mahlhzeiten in Pubs oder Restaurants relativ hoch (im Vergleich zu anderen Städchen). Die Strasse zur Wohnung ist einspurig, das heisst, es muss an Ausweichstellen gekreuzt werden, was oft passiert in den Zeiten zwischen 7:00 Uhr und 20:00 Uhr.
Owner's Response: There is an alternative route around Mevagissey avoiding the narrow streets.
Washing up liquid and brush are provided, or available on request if not already in the apartment.
There is a good selection of places to eat, within walking distance, from cafe/bistros, pubs etc to quality restaurants.
