Mevagissey is ideally located for exploring Cornwall, mid way on the beautiful south coast. Just 5 minutes walk (500yds) from the picturesque harbour at Mevagissey with its restaurants, pubs, shops and art galleries, and the sandy beach at Portmellon with safe swimming and free public slipway. The Eden Project is just 10 miles away, and The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Pentewan Cycle Trail are 2 miles. Take the ferry from Mevagissey to Fowey for an interesting day out, or visit National Trust properties. Beautiful cliff top and countryside walks (we are on the coastal footpath). Ideal for an active holiday or a tranquil break. The Tate at St.Ives, The Maritime Museum in Falmouth and the beautiful waters of the Carrick Roads, Lands End, The Minack theatre or the surfing beaches on the north coast are all within 45 minutes - 1.5 hours drive, but there is so much to see in the immediate area you do not have to go far!

Peace, Quiet & Stunning Views

We have just returned to Australia after a visit to the UK & as always we made time to enjoy a weeks peace & quiet at Treloen Holiday Apartments. They are situated in a fabulous position, perched on top of the cliffs with stunning views overlooking Mevagissey Bay & Chapel Point & only a short walk down into the village itself which offers plenty of excellent choices for dining out from cafes to pubs & several very good restaurants.
We always book to stay in Apartment 10, we find it just perfect for a couple, sparkling clean, well equiped with everyting we could need to make our stay such a pleasure & to add to our comfort this visit, new leather furniture in the lounge, which made it hard to drag ourselves out but the weather was kind to us & the balcony is a great spot to sit & enjoy the views either over breakfast, a lazy lunch or a sundowner.
The apartments also have plenty of on site parking which is a rarity in Mevagissey, great to be able to leave the car safely & enjoy one of the many local walks that this beautiful part of Cornwall has to offer.
I can't finish without mentioning how friendly & helpful the owners have always been, nothing has ever been too much trouble & they are full of great advise on things to do, places to go & where to eat.
We will definitely return, 10.000 miles is a long way to come, what more can I say !!!!

We have just returned from staying at Treloen, and have had a fantastic time. The apartment we thought was very well equipped, it certainly had everything we needed and more. It was very clean and comfortable, the views are amazing. It is very convenient for Mevagissey, the parking is a great asset and you can walk to the shops and restaurants etc (we recommend Judes on the harbour). The owners were friendly and helpful. We shall certainly be returning and can highly recommend it.

Great views but very poor standard of accomodation

The apartment is in an excellent location. It has fantastic views and is an easy walk to the harbour. However, the accomodation is very small, poorly equipped and rather uncomfortable. There is no dishwasher, you have to put money into a meter to get any electricity and £3 per wash in a communal laundrette. We've had to buy all the cleaning materials. The bed contains a lumpy old mattress, which was malodourous and the linen provided was not cotton (made for sticky nights).The sitting room furniture was very uncomfortable. We would not recommend this apartment to anyone.
Owner's Response: We are very sorry these guests did not enjoy the apartment – as the owners we are always available to help, (our house is just across the road), and try to see the guests during their stay to make sure all is well. We appreciate constructive comments and suggestions and act very quickly to implement them to make our guests’ stay more enjoyable. Our linen is good quality Horrockses 50/50 poly/cotton, the mattresses are replaced regularly, medium to firm, or dunlopillo type foam. We appreciate this is a very subjective issue and would have been happy to change it for these guests but although seeing them many times nothing was said. On receiving the comments we immediately checked with the next people who told us it was absolutely fine for them. The leather furniture in the lounge of this apartment, all new this year, has received favourable comments from different age groups which we consider a compliment. On average the electric meters use £4 per week – this has not been changed for several years but encourages our guests to realise how important it is to switch off lights and appliances when they are not needed as they are now financially responsible for their energy usage. (oil central heating is included without charge out of season).

We are happy to say that a high proportion of our guests are repeat customers.
