Recently restored, Villa Barbara is located 50 metres from the wonderful beach ‘Cannesisa’, with its clean, cobalt-blue sea. It has 2 floors. On the ground floor there is a spacious living room, with a comfortable eating area, a pleasant conversation area, a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave), and a bathroom with shower. First floor comprises 4 spacious and beautifully furnished double bedrooms, accommodating 8 people in total (2 king-size bed, and 2 with 2 single beds each), a large bathroom fully equipped. Small beds, high chair, and a small tub for children’s bath available upon request. The Villa has all modern comforts (cable TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi, air conditioning, washing machine, iron and ironing board). A perfectly equipped brick barbecue is ready for your meals open air. The Villa is surrounded by a spacious garden, with a fresh patio where you can seat, read a book and relax, and a wonderful grass lawn where children can play and have fun. 3 internal parking.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rental rates include bed and bath linen (bed sheets and towels), gas and water.
    Electricity allowance of 100 KwH is given each week - additional KwH's used is charged at 0.25c/KwH.
    Final cleaning 100 euros.
    A refundable deposit of € 500 is required prior to the letting period against damage and breakables. A payment of 25% of the full amount is required to secure the booking and full payment is required 6 weeks prior to arrival.

    Check in times are between 3pm and 8pm; guests must leave by 10am.
    We will try to accommodate guests' requests for different entry/leaving days so please get in touch to find out more.
    We also try to be flexible about check in/check out times but anything different from what is stated above must be agreed, in writing, at the time of your booking. We also reserve the right to charge an additional fee.

The Villa we all thought was excellent and just as described.
The beach, supermarkets, market stalls, butchers and restaurants are all close by and there are also a couple of cafe's for lunchtime snacks at the beach. We never found the nearest supermarket closed but perhaps it opens/closes at different times in or out of the main summer season.
The owner Simone and his family were all very helpful and could not have done more to help and advise us both before and during our stay.
We would recommend this to all, except those who have problems walking as Torre delle Stelle is not exactly a flat area. It is however very beautiful and well worth a visit.

The Villa has been beautifully decorated and is well appointed for families with children. A double swing, slide, trike, toy-kitchen and beach toys were all provided, and kept our kids well entertained. The property is completely fenced and has a wonderful grassy area which is secure out front for the kids to play. It is a short walk to the beach, which was clean, had an icecream stall and pedalos and kayaks. It can be a very windy beach, but on a still day was absolutely perfect.

The Villa lacked a kettle and some of the basics such as salt/pepper/cooking oil, but the proprietor kindly brought us milk in the morning. It could also benefit from stair gates for children who are only just learning to manage stairs.

We were a bit stuck for places to go out for lunch as most of the local restaurants were closed until 7:30 or 8 pm, and the supermarkets close between 12 and 4 pm; so be prepared to cook at the Villa if you have little children who need to be fed early and put to bed!

We were asked for a deposit to cover the chattels when we arrived, which was a bit of a surprise, of which $100 was retained to pay for cleaning of the villa (not optional). We would have preferred to have known this up front and have it included in the overall cost of the Villa.
