Sun, Sea, Art, Food, Fun, Calm. Cefalu'. This charming and graceful little town faces the Tyrrhenian sea from a promontory overhung by a huge, rough outcrop of the mountains. Because of its favourable climate and outstanding natural and artistic features, is is counted among the touristic jewels of the Palermo Province. The magnificent Cathedral has the structural characteristics of Norman religious building. The Mandralisca Museum contains valuable paintings of the fifteenth to eighteenth centuries. Outstanding in the collection is a paint of Antonello da Messina. The whole coast around Cefalu' is dotted with beautiful beaches. In the mountains behind the town and reachable by a winding road is the Sanctuary of Gibilmanna. Villa Oddo is very close to this Sanctuary in a fantastic country place.
