Photos and Description of this St-Paul-en-Foret holiday villa Ideal for families, children and 65+, quite, near village, sea 25kms, lake 10kms

Lived-in family home, with 10X5m swimming pool, sunbeds, garden chairs, barbeque, large garden, playgrounds, fireplace, wooded area, in quite surroundings, close to village. Outdoor shower and WC. The interior dining/sitting room, which has very high ceilings, seats 12+ people at two tables. The terrace and verandah seat up to 16+ people at two tables. Five bedrooms, of which one with own external entrance, sleep 12 adults. In addition, the sofa bed in the sitting room sleeps two, if need be. It is provided with TV, CDs, garden & pool toys, bikes, swing, toboggan. The house is about one hour drive from the Nice airport, some 35 minutes from the Saint Raphael TGV train station, and some 12 and 20 minutes from the nearest A8 motorway exit (# 39 from Nice, # 38 from Aix en Provence). The sea resorts are some 45 minutes away: Saint Raphael, Frejus, Saint Aigulf, Agay, Esterel. Groups of youngsters are not welcome. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is permitted.

In addition to sea & lake, there are: history & arts, forests and hills, wine-tasting at local producers; well-preserved tophill medieval villages. Health care in Grasse and Saint Raphael, nurse in village, doctors in Bagnols and Fayence. Shopping centre in Fayence, 6 kms, where is an open area market on Tuesdays,Thursday and Saturdays. Our village has two restaurants, small shop, butcher & gastronomic shop, bar & tobacconist, catering. On Mondays there is a small market with fruit, vegetables, bread, cooked food, etc; there is a Catholic church where Holly Mass is held each Saturday at 6.30 pm. In the area, eg Fayence, Seillans, Callian, there are several good restaurants. Grasse is famous for perfume factories. Les Gorges du Verdon, Eze, Mougins are really a must, as are impressionist and other museums in Nice, Cannes, Vence. The Four Seasons' resort has a large golf course; there is also one in Saint Raphael / Vallescure. The Fayence airport club offers air trips over the area.

  • Arrival/ departures dates are flexible. Rates for periods of less than a week are provided on request.

    The rent includes: gas, electricity, water, heating, telephone and Internet; supplies, maintenance and cleaning of the swimming pool, cleaning on departure day, any taxes.

    20% is payable upon booking.
    A security deposit of Euro 1000 is required.

    The balance of rent is payable by bank transfer four weeks before the arrival date, together with the security deposit.

    The security deposit, after deduction of breakage charges,if any, will be reimbursed by bank transfer, after checking, within the week following departure.
  • All bed linen and bathroom (but not pool) towels are provided) as are table cloths, kitchen towels etc.

  • The villa is in very quiet surroundings. Four neighbours live there permanently. Each bedroom has a large window facing the garden, all have high ceilings and are equipped with inbuilt wardrobes, small tables and table lamps. Bedroom 5 has two windows, is also equipped with own WC and wash basin. Bedroom 6, equipped with shower and WC, has separate independent entrance from the garage/garden level and own small terrace. The sofa bed is located in the sitting room.

Per French law, the swimming pool is equipped with an alarm system which tenants are obliged to switch on when the pool is vacant or adults are absent. The proper use of the property is at the risk and under the responsibility of the tenant; in particular adults are expected to provide adequate supervision over children of all ages, particularly in the pool, on the playgrounds and their equipment, terraces, gardens, orchard and the wooded area, fireplace and barbeque, etc.
