Marco Island holiday house

My parents, teenage daughter and myself rented this property recently (May 2009) and found it to be a fantastic place. Everything you would want to see in a holiday home is provided, and more, in fact, you may as well call it home it was so comfortable! Renting the property from the UK was very easy thanks to the accommodating and ever helpful owners and the bottle of wine left for the first night was much appreciated. The property was very clean with plenty of bedding and towels available and my teenage daughter was happy she had American cable TV in her room and a walk in wardrobe almost the size of her bedroom back home! The best thing though was the pool - the perfect size, depth and shape with lots of places to sunbathe and shaded areas for when it got too hot. There are plenty of pool toys in the garage for you to use and the pool was always clean. The gas BBQ outside was nice for evenings in and there was ample cutlery and equipment provided for cooking if you didn't fancy going out. The property is a short walk from the beach, in a cul-de-sac just off the road opposite the Hilton Hotel and the new Marriot timeshares. A post office, cinema, restaurants and shops are an easy 5 minute walk and an even easier 2 minute cycle ride if you use the bikes that are provided in the garage. All in all a fabulous holiday home which we would have no hesitation in using again when we return to Marco Island. Thanks to Carmen and Eduardo, the owners, for making this property one of the nicest we have ever rented, anywhere. Highly recommended.
