This 1 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment, has been recently refurbished to a high standard with marble floors throughout. There is the luxury of an en suite bathroom, electric shutters, reversible air-conditioning/heating and double glazed windows. The American kitchen creates a light and bright living space leading onto the sunny south facing terrace, and a separate WC makes this a real 'user friendly' base for 4 people. Situated on a 5th floor elevated position, within a quiet residential bourgeois 1950's purpose built block, the building is set back in professionally managed gardens. The whole premises are protected by security gates and there is a resident concierge ready to help, just inside the imposing marble entrance. The beauty of this accommodation is that it is just two minutes from the new tramway and the main shopping street in Nice...a haven for true shoppers! There is a short 10 minute walk down through the famous place Massena to the beach, old town and bus garage.

Standing just on the perimeter of the Carre D'or, the apartment is just a hop and a bag from the best designer shops in town. There is even a supermarket just literally round the corner for your fresh brie and baguettes. The new tramway will take you for just one euro to the old town and bus garage with a short walk to the port if your legs are too tired from all that shopping. All water sports available on the busy seafront which also offers boat trips along the coast or even out to Corsica/Sardinia . Fine art museums are in abundance and all within easy reach. Day trips to Cannes, St Tropez, Monaco, border of Italy can be made using nearby train or bus. The old town with its cobbled streets and varied restaurants is a lively place to buy your lavender bags and socca. The Port leads to beautiful rocky coastal walks towards Ville Franche. Enjoy stunning views from the hills and villages around. If you are even more intrepid, take the steam train to the Alps to walk or ski.

Very nice, comfortable apartment in great location convenient for restaurants, shops, transport. Well equiped with excellent en-suite plus additional shower room and separate toilet if needed! If we wanted to be really fussy, we did find the single mattresses a bit on the narrow side and would have preferred a kingsize duvet to cover both of us - the single ones had a habit of ending on the floor every time you turned over!!

But we would happily use this apartment again - the rating should really be "very good" - and would been excellent but for the bed.

Thank you to Jane for being so welcoming, friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed meeting and talking with her!
Owner's Response: Yes, well we offer two single beds for greater flexibility when there are friends staying or folk who simply like their own space. Hopefully it is described as such on the website. Glad you enjoyed your stay and all the facilities.

We spent a lovely week exploring Nice whilst staying in this apartment. The location is very central and all amenities are close by. The apartment itself is very modern and well presented for a holiday let. Old Nice is only a 10 minute walk with its lively markets and restaurants.We would like to thank Jane for making our stay a pleasant experience . Au revoir Nice till next time.

We had a lovely week in Nice and found the Apartment to be all it was advertised spacious,modern,beautifully presented and very comfortable. Jane was very welcoming and made sure we were settled in and was available at any time to cater to our needs.
We will definately return to lovely Nice and would be very happy to stay in the Apartment again and would recommend it to our family and friends as the location is so convenient to transport,beach and shops and within walking distance to the beautiful "Old Town".

Loved this apartment - clean, well maintained and very homely. All we needed was provided. Would highly recommend this apartment, great for exploring Nice, we would certainly stay here again. Owner very friendly and helpful with booking and during our stay. Apartment details accurate - stairs/lift were not a problem to us we knew we would be on 5th floor and it was fine! Nothing negative to say!! We loved it and wish we were there now!

Nice holiday

This was a beautiful apartment which we really enjoyed using. It was very clean and well maintained had all the modern facilities you could want. The location was brilliant, being just off the main high street for shopping but only about 7 minutes walk to the beach. The train station is also close by, which we used to visit Villefranche and Monaco during our stay. The main supermarkets are also very close by as is a wonderful bakery where you can get fresh croissants and baguettes. I would really recommend this apartment for anyone wishing to visit Nice!
