This splendid 1991 built in villa is located 1h south of the French border, 10 min away from the beaches of Palamos, St. Antoni de Calonge and Playa de Aro. It is built on 3 levels offering 230 m² of liveable area and a 20 m² terrace with outstanding sea view. Central heating with fuel and a landscaped garden. 1st floor: living room/fire place, a colour satellite TV (German & French), Hi-Fi, DVD, the kitchen has an opening to the garden and includes fridge with freezer, dishwasher, electric cooker, microwaves, large terrace, cloakroom, garage and an open porch for 1 car. Middle floor: 2 twin bedded rooms incl. a Master bedroom opening on a large terrace, shower, toilets, TV, separated WC and bathroom. Ceiling fans and wardrobes in each room. Laundry room with washing machine and drying machine. Lower floor has 1 triple room with 2 twin beds plus one matress on mezzanine opening to the garden:

The access to Calonge is only a 30 minutes drive from the Girona airport. 1hour from the French border and 1 and ½ hour from the Barcelona airport (most of the part is motorway). The villa is located in a small and quiet urbanization, only 3 minutes drive from Calonge, the medieval village with its castle and its shadowed narrow streets. The area is superbly situated to enjoy everything Costa Brava can offer: beautiful and clean long beaches, small coves, wild cliff with spectacular views and palm-tree lined promenades etc. Within 15 minutes drive, excellent water sports facilities. Many historical, cultural interests, including Dalí Museum are within an hour drive and Barcelona is at 100 km distance, easy to reach by train. Throughout the year, many arts exhibitions, cultural events, music festivals & concerts are organized. 9 golf courses including PGA within an hour drive. Within 1/2 hour, lots of ceramic-craft courses are offered. Excellent shopping opportunities nearby.

Additional information about rental rates

  • General rules applying to all seasons: At the time that the reservation is made and within 10 days, a deposit of 40 % of the total price of the rental must be paid by bank transfer to the owner bank account in Spain after issuing invoice and rental contract. The balance has to reach the owner bank account 7 weeks prior arrival. A cash deposit of 800 euros paid in cash on arrival is requested in case of possible damages. This amount (in full or less) will be refunded 2 weeks after departure latest and after inventory. It belongs to the tenant to leave the kitchen and BBQ utensils clean the day of departure. Final cleaning will be charged € 100.00. Water and electricity included according to normal consumption (as per meter reading arrival/departure). Small pets are accepted under certain conditions. They will be charged an additional 75 euros/week. Bed linen and towels can be rented against supplement. Please ask.
  • Low season: Fuel consumption will be charged 40.00 € per week.
    Mid season: For stay exceeding 2 weeks up to 1 month: 5 % discount on rental price. For stay between 1 month and 3 months: 10 % discount on rental price. Water and electricity included according to normal consumption (as per meter reading arrival/departure).
  • High season 1 & 2: For stay exceeding 2 weeks up to 1 month you get 5 % discount on rental price. For stay between 1 month and 2 months: 10 % discount on rental price. Water and electricity included according to normal consumption (meter reading arrival/departure).

Ski: Ski resort are 1 1/2 hour away from the villa in the Pyrenees mountains.

Golf: 9 golf courses of various difficulties are reachable within 1 hour drive, open all year round. 2 golf courses have 36 holes and one is part of the Professional Golfers Association (PGA). Tuition fees are not expensive and the pros speak several foreign languages. Individual as well as group lessons are available. Besides 2 Pitch and Put golf courses are close to the villa.
