This quiet but very popular front line 4 star aparthotel has 24 hour security and reception. The complex is maintained to a high standard, with pool bar, two pools (plus toddlers paddling pool) hair salon, launderette and internet computers available. There is immediate access onto 'Geranium Walk', a lovely sea front promenade which runs all the way from La Celetta, through Playa del Duque, Playa de las Americas and into Los Cristianos. General Information:: The area is very well served by buses which will take you all over Tenerife. The cheapest way to travel is to buy a 'Bono' card which, whilst not compulsory, will give you a discount on all your trips. Mount Teide, Santa Cruz, Los Gigantes and Puerto de la Cruz are all within easy reach by bus. Alternatively, taxis are plentiful & relatively cheap, as is car hire. One week car hire for a small modern hatchback works out at around £11 per day and can be booked through Auto Reisen (English speaking) on You can collect your car from the airport and, if all runs smoothly, arrive at the complex about an hour after landing... remember that parking (ask Recección). Activities:: For those who enjoy walking, (and are fairly fit!) or those who enjoy touring by car or bicycle, Tenerife has a wonderfully diverse landscape to explore. You will soon forget those first impressions of barren countryside, for Tenerife offers dramatic mountains, plunging ravines, wild untouched coastlines, lush green laurel forests and the spectacular moon-like terrain of Mount Teide - all within easy reach. There are also whale/dolphin trips, site seeing and scuba diving excursions all available locally. GOLF - Club Atantis is ideally situated within a 15 - 20 minute taxi ride of five golf courses: Golf las Americas (18 Holes), Adeje Golf (27), Los Palos (9 holes par 3), Golf del Sur (18 holes) and Amarilla Golf (18 holes). All but Los Palos will require a handicap certificate.
