Photos and Description of this Rhodos holiday villa A detached private villa ,with pool.

This detached villa is in a prime location on a private plot of only two villas & just a two minute walk from the main road in Kalathos,with all the amenities. The panoramic views from the two balconies are of the mountains and beach of charaki. The villa is tastefully furnished and has all you need for outdoor living with plenty of sunbeds and a family size BBQ with a pergola,table and chairs surrounded by flowers. The upstairs has one double room and one twin bedded room both with balconies, across from the bedrooms there is a bathroom with a double shower. Downstairs leading from the lounge/kitchen is another twin bedroom with adjacent bathroom/shower room making this ideal for guests/friends. There are French doors from this bedroom overlooking the pool.The lounge/kitchen is looking out onto a grassed area and an orchard. All rooms are fully air conditioned.The kitchen is well equiped and looks onto the BBQ and the 7m x4m private pool, which is suitable for children.

Kalathos is a quiet village on the east coast of Rhodes, it has stunning sea views and has all the amenities you would require all year around, it is on the main bus route so a car is not a necessity. The famous village of Lindos is only a 10 minute drive away with the ancient acropolis overlooking it and the cobbled streets full of tavernas, shops and restaurants. There are a variety of beaches on the coast some with watersports. Rhodes town is 40k from Kalathos and easily accessible by bus or an organised trip by coach or boat.The old and new towns should not be missed, there is also a water park near to Rhodes town. Another point of interest is Prassonisi where the two seas meet, the Aegean and the Med.

We have been to Rhodes many times, this is the most impressive villa we have stayed in on the island. The villa was tastefully decorated, modern, and very clean!
The pool was great, cleaned whilst we were there and a lovely b-b-q area that we used daily!
We visited at Easter and were very lucky to have fab weather, although early in the season we found local places to eat and drink, also a short drive into Lindos and Charaki, for more choice.
would def recomend!!!!

on this our third holiday on rhodes we stayed at villa andreas.we have previously stayed in lindos and wanted more privacy but be close to lindos.this was perfect,there is a bakery,pharmacy, petrol station and a small general store just 200metres away and a good supermarket half way to lindos.we hired a car locally and explored the southern end of the island.the local people are very freindly, the pool cleaner called twice and although it was easter the pool was warm and the memory of lying on a sun bed while the swallows fly past to drink on the wing was amazing.i would reccomend this villa as an excellent place for anyone who wants to spend time in the lindos -pefkos area.

The villa is set on the edge of a olive grove with the privacy of a private pool,we took the grand children for a week and we could not keep them out of the pool.we found the local people very helpful and the bus service to rhodes town very good.lindos is a must to see and the meeting of the two seas ,the list is endless.the property is well furnished and have the use of tv,video,etc .there is air con in all rooms ,but during the summer months we found that they were not required.the bbq came in very handy,with a butchers shop and supermarket down in the village also fresh bread and cakes from the bakery.there are quite a few tavernas in the village. A restaraunt i would recommend is the olive grove on the road down to kalathos beach.
St pauls bay is a must to see along with the acropolis

At the latter end of the season the pommegranets are plentyful also the lemons and lime trees are just in the orchard alongside the villa.

Overall we all had a fantastic holiday one week was not enough to see the island but was amazed at the scenery and landscape.we are thinking of a return next year and have already spoken to people that are going out early 2009.
