With panoramic views across the peaceful countryside toward the walled town of Volterra, the Villa is an ideal holiday home with enormous amounts of space and every convenience. Recently restored and designed by an award winning international architect, the former traditional farmhouse is now luxurious and airy with very generous proportions. The world famous cities of Pisa, Florence, Siena and Lucca are all within easy reach. Lovers of shopping will find Volterra great for wines and local food and famed for its alabaster which makes for beautiful souvenirs. For fashion, the nearby town of Pontedera has an abundance of boutiques stocking many designer brands but for a world class shopping experience, a trip to Florence can not be beaten. The Etruscan coast is less than an hour away by car and lovely sandy beaches can be found between the seaside resorts of Vada and Rosignano.

Notes: The ground floor comprises a double height reception area and dining area, kitchen, lounge, separate TV room, toilet, utility area with washer and dryer and double bedroom with bathroom. The kitchen combines beautiful original brick arch architecture with the practicality of modern appliances. The kitchen work surfaces are made of white Carrara marble. The double height dining area has a wonderful antique dining table which will comfortably seat 12. This is separated from a spacious lounge by a double sided log burning fire. The TV room has a double sofa bed and may be used as a 6th bedroom. Traditional cotta paved terraces, shaded by mature trees, surround the Villa. There is plenty of garden furniture to provide the perfect space for everyone to enjoy alfresco dining including barbecues or for quietly appreciating a glass of the world famous local wine under the romantic, wisteria clad pergola. The pool is 11m x 5m.
