This lovely 6 bedroom country home is a perfect place to base yourself in the very heart of the Haute Pyrenees, nestling in a timeless, peaceful valley of pasture and woodland. Catch your breath with clean fresh mountain air as you feast your eyes on the spectacular panoramic vistas, all around you. The house is very well equipped and has everything you need for any season, warm comfortable and central heated in winter, a sun trap in Spring and Autumn with the large south west facing veranda and possibly the best place to be in hot high summer in France with the the cool mountain air. This house is fantastic and perfectly situated for all year round visits, the many fascinating places, including Bagneres de Bigorre (15mins) Tarbes (30mins) and the Holy pilgrimage sanctuary at Lourdes (20 mins). The Bustling Town of Bagneres de Bigorre & the wonderful Aquensis thermal spa baths. Hotel Restaurants, Casino, excellent outdoor and covered markets, and three large supermarkets.

The Fabulous Spa's & Caves in Bagneres de Bigorre: Other activities include three local golf courses (clubs available at the house) canoeing, angling in local trout streams, horse riding, climbing, parapente. Visits to the Pyrenees National park, Cirque de Gavernie, Pont d’Espagne and the water cascades. There is also plenty to keep children entertained with incredible caves, adventure tree parks, mini golf, tennis and indoor swimming pool. Spain is nearby. For trips further afield, beach trips to Biarritz or San Sabastian’s La Concha beach for example. Winter Ski holidays: The Domain Tourmalet, La Mongie & Bareges, the largest ski resort in the French Pyrenees. 100 kms of piste all with spectacular vistas. Some even run through pine forests, and there are magical candle lit, night runs. This is a family orientated ski resort with plenty of cafes & restaurants.
