Stone barn, self catering, available all year, newly converted, open plan living, kitchen, dining room with fireplace and wood burning stove. Wonderful scenery, lots of activities nearby and places to visit Castles, Distilleries, lochs, mountains. We are 12 minutes drive from Dunkeld, one of the most beautiful villages in Scotland. The famous towns of Crieff and Aberfeldy are approx 15 minutes and Pitlochry and Perth 25 minutes Local sporting activities include hill walking, bird watching, fishing, cycling, quad biking, clay pigeon shooting, kayaking, white water rafting and golf.

The famous towns of Crieff and Aberfeldy are approx 10 miles away. The property is situated in Beautiful Strathbraan near the tiny village of Amulree in Glorious Highland Perthshire. It is surrounded by stunning scenery, Hills, Mountains, Rivers and Lochs nearby.We are an ideal base for touring Perthshire and much of Scotland, Edinburgh Airport and St Andrews are within an hours drive.

From your holiday house: The only sounds at night are the call of barn owls or the wind in the trees. Count the stars in the sky from your balcony. You can walk to the River Braan and fish for trout or swim in the Summer in good weather. It is possible to see red deer, and birds of prey from the house. The owners live next door in their farmhouse which dates back to approx 1780 and are on hand to welcome you

I had forgotten just how beautiful the Perthshire countryside is. And Mill Cottage, located near Dunkeld is just as lush as the surrounding scenery. This barn conversion was tastefully decorated with a fine eye for detail. Beautifully renovated, the rooms were comfortable and cosy. The numerous skylights flooding the rooms with natural light gave a delightful ambience to a great week's stay.

This cottage is conveniently placed for fishing, sightseeing and hill walking but a car is essential. Aberfeldy, nearby was a great little village for all holiday essentials.

And the icing on the cake? The owners were the friendliest couple I have ever met. Great sense of fun and nothing was too much trouble.

A great holiday with fond memories.

I would definitely visit again.
