Our pretty, self-catering apartment is on the popular Puerto Marina complex. Only 10 minutes drive from San Javier airport, the apartment is situated on a quiet corner over-looking farmland. Shops, bars and restaurants are only 5 minutes walk away. It's a flat 10 minute walk to a beautiful sandy beach with beach cafes and a 6km promenade to stroll along if you fancy visiting the very Spanish old town of Los Alcazares. Our apartment has been equipped as a second home and 'well-behaved' children are very welcome ! There are ceiling fans throughout. 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin. We also have a guest bed and a travel cot for babies [also a booster chair, bedguards, etc]. Bathroom with bath/shower. The kitchen area is fully equipped & has a washing machine,oven, hob, microwave & fridge freezer. The lounge/dining area has a dining table, L shaped sofa, TV, video/DVD player and CD player and sliding doors open out onto a large balcony with tables and chairs leading to a patio garden.

Los Alcazares is in the Murcia Region on the Costa Calida, the South East coast of Spain. The town is set on the shores of the Mar Menor, a saltwater lagoon separated from the Mediterranean sea by La Manga. The blue flag beach is sandy and the sea warmer than the Med, it is shallow and very safe for little one's. The beach promenade has bars and cafes [who also hire out sunbeds and parasols]. In the resort there are a variety of supermarkets, shops and restaurants catering for all tastes. There is a market on Tuesday and Saturday selling food, clothes and accessories, and local crafts. For the golfers there a number of golf courses just a short drive away. A 15km bus ride away is the beautiful port of Cartagena which has many designer shops and restaurants. The city of Murcia is 30 minutes away and worth a visit if only to see it's beautiful cathedral. Terra Natura wildlife and water park is 45 minutes drive north. For the shoppers Dos Mares shopping centre is just 15 minutes drive.

You will be greeted at the apartment by our English friends who will show you around the complex and apartment. For a small fee they will be able to return you to the airport at the end of your holiday.
