Belvedere Farmhouse, 550 metres above sea level, is immersed in the typical Tuscany landscape,.rich of ancient civilization and natural beauty. It is located at Poppi, at the gateway of National Park of Casentino Valley, Falterona Mount and Campigna Forests, in a beautiful panoramic position, overlooking the splendid valley and the famous Castle of Poppi. The building, an old farmhouse skilfully restructured, is divided in nine self-catering two-three-bedrooms apartments, all complete with simple but refined furniture, with dishwasher, air-extractor hood, microwave on request, shower booth. Outside, private terrace or balcony. At disposal of the guests, a large garden with out swimming pool, Jacuzzi, barbecues, wood oven, common rooms, plays for children, bowls pitch and unattended car park. Cured pork meats' tastings are organized for the guests. It's possible to buy the typical products directly in the farm, guaranteed by Consorzio del Prosciutto del Casentino.

Also the ' Divina Commedia 'poet, Dante Alighieri, lived a part of his life at Poppi Castle.Belvedere is near the following religious places: Camaldoli ( monastery and hermirage), Vallombrosa ( abbey), La Verna ( sanctuary where S.Francis of Assisi took the stygmates) and the many romanic churches ( Romena parish). Casentino valley is famous for the typical wool tissue, ceramics and typical food products. Holiday house near to:Firenze (50km.), Siena (90km), Arezzo (30km).

What a wonderful holiday, relaxing, a very nice place where I spent beautiful days travelling in the sourraunding, full of green and historical monuments of the medieval period! I liked very much the huge garden, the Jacuzzi near the out pull..very delicious the typical ham salad prepared by the nice and kind owner Mrs. Angiola. Every day she always smiled me and my family, ready to speack with us about everything! I hope to come back again next year..

The charming Tuscany landscape (in the middle of Casentino Valley) and excellent food products makes of this place one of the most beautiful and evocative of Italy.

It's a very nice place where you can spend holidays with your friends or family, enjoy yourself with exciting experiences walking on strictly contact of nature or relax in the garden with a beautiful panoramic view of the Casentino Valley
