São Martinho do Porto is situated on the coast 100 km north of Lisbon in the Estremadura region near Nazaré, Alcobaça, Serra dos Candeeiros, Caldas da Rainha, Óbidos, Foz do Arelho and Salir do Porto. São Martinho is ideal for family holidays as it has a sheltered bay and a fine sandy beach making it perfect for families. Outdoor sports, such as sailing, surfing, walking, cycling, etc. are all available. It is a great destination to stay all year round. Because of it's central location (only 100km north of Lisbon) it is great to use as a base to visit some interesting places, Obidos, Fatimah, Tomar, Lisbon and many more.

Additional information about rental rates

  • €75 euros payable on leaving to meet cleaning costs. Rental Rates include: gas, electricity (extra October - March) water, linen and towels (please bring beach towels). A 25% deposit is required on booking and the balance is payable 8 weeks prior to departure. A refundable damage deposit of £300 is also required which will be collected with your final payment. This amount is refundable within 2 weeks of return less the reasonable cost of any breakages or damage done. Towel and linen changed weekly at extra cost €75 for complete clean, towel and linen change €40. If you would like changes more than this it can be arranged. Maid service available at extra cost, please ask.

    Changeover day is Saturday during the peak season but can be flexible at other times if available.

The description was accurate, apartment just like described, very clean and well equipment. Location excellent (marketplace of fruits and vegetables near). Quite to sleep and absolutely charming place to be, also Sao Martinho. And car was not needed! Owners were contact all the time via mail and Mic in Sao Martinho, was great help when ever needed! The pool was ok and the beach great ( about 10 min walk).

Great family holiday, beautiful apartment

We had a fabulous time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this really well appointed apartment. It was close enough to the beach, restaurants and cafes of which there were many. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the beach and felt safe at all times.

There was lots to do and see in the surrounding areas and loved Obidos.

We will return again without doubt!
