The El Ejido complex is situated in the typical Andalucian town of Lebrija, on the Costa de la Luz. Also only a 20 minute drive to Jerez. El Ejido is a residential development, made up of townhouse style properties. The architects have kept the traditional Andalucian Pueblo style, which is prevalent in this corner of the province of Seville. The property has 3 generous bedrooms, 2 double and 1 twin (or large double), family bathroom, shower room, large lounge/diner and HIGH QUALITY UPGRADED KITCHEN. In addition there is front terrace/parking area, rear patio and a huge rooftop solarium with 360 degree views. With a population of around 25,000 Lebrija has the infrastructure and facilities that one would expect of a town, yet it still manages to retain that village feel. Geographically, Lebrija is ideally situated. Only 20 minutes drive from Jerez airport and around 40 minutes from Seville. There is a train station with a regular service to Jerez/Cadiz or in the other direction Seville and beyond. The closest beaches are at Sanlucar de Barrameda, approximately 20 minutes away which apart from having some of the best beaches on the Costa de la Luz is also famous for it`s langostinos and producing the world famous Manzanilla. The town of Lebrija has a whole range of Supermarkets, shops, bars and some of the best value restaurants in the area. The town is overlooked by the ruins of a castle dating back to Roman times and the cobbled narrow streets that lead to the castle are a testament to the town`s long & interesting History.

Great base.

Husband and I stayed here for a few days in mid September.
House was well positioned about 10 minutes walk from the centre and a few minutes walk away from several bars,one of which had a couple of internet terminals.
Jerez,Cadiz and Seville are all about 30 minutes drive away so it is very well positioned for visiting all these places.We also went to Rota,Sanlucar and Chipiona which are all on the coast with wonderful beaches.
We went to a couple of restaurants/tapas bars in Lebrija and the tapas were wonderful,although we ordered far too much.One was called Lechuga and the other was at the end of Calle Trinidad,I know it began with the letter C.
The great thing about the house was, if we had been out most of the day and were going to be late back we would get some food and just plonk ourselves in front of the tv.
The house is very well equipped,even having a downstairs bedroom and shower room so that if anyone has difficulty walking they do not have to venture upstairs.
Also a huge plus were the towels.They were a proper size, big,fluffy bath sheets and there were also big towels for use at the pool meaning that we did not have to fill up our baggage bringing these with us.

Lebrija Trip

We had a really good 10 day holiday in Lebrija. The house was very comfortable with all the ingredients for a fantatsic holiday. We took trips to Cadiz, Jerez, Chipiona, El Puerto Santa Maria and Rota. We also enjoyed the atmosphere of Lebrija Town, poeple very friendly and lovely atmosphere, the weekly Tuesday market was interesting. Pool was appreciated by all of us and we will no doubt return soon. Thanks Julie for all you helpfulness and care it it nice to deal direct with the owner

Ideal Touring Venue

This modern apartment is perfectly located at the edge of the typical Andalucian town of Lebrija. Inside, it has all the modern conveniences, and air conditioning units in each room, essential in the searing August heat.
The communal pool is 20 yards away and is a generous size.
The English owner was very helpful in recommendations and introducing the property.
Lebrija is very Spanish and does not have a touristy feel. The locals are friendly and the restaurants and cafes were great value.
Jerez was 25 minutes drive away, Seville 40 minutes and the coastal beaches around 35 minutes. Late afternoon visits were much enjoyed as the heat subsided.
Venue is ideal for those wishing to savour the true Andalucia away from the tourist crowds.

Trip to Lebrija

Hi Julie.
I'm delighted to put in writing my thoughts regarding our stay in Lebrija.
We have rented a lot of places in Spain over the years and we have no hesitation in saying yours was the best.
A number of factors contributed to this:
Quality fittings everywhere - all working. This includes things that could
be so easily overlooked, like having decent cutlery;
Comfy furniture, indeed a comfy feel to the whole house;
Lovely décor;
Having a few plants - it makes it feel so much more like home;
A quality welcome pack with well chosen items. (I'll forgive you for
choosing San Miguel - you weren't to know that I prefer Mahou...)
Most of all, and this is really important for us - the house was clean -
properly clean that is. We didn't feel we had to set to with the Cif and
Dettox before using the kitchen and that was such a nice feeling.
We loved the location too. Lebrija is so unpretentious, so untouched by the tourist boom, yet no distance at all from a whole range of towns and resorts. We followed your advice and went to Rota, liking it so much we went back for a repeat visit.
We worked our way round all the bars in the square
- I don't know how much tinto de verano we drank...We probably like the El Poli bar best.
All in all, the whole thing was top class.

This was a very clean and well equipped house with everything supplied including lots of dvds, cds, books and games. The welcome arrival pack was most appreciated and typified the owner's thoughtfulness and superb organisation. They live nearby so we got personal attention with no agents to deal with. The house is conveniently located on the edge of town close to the pool and countryside. There is lots to see and do locally being within easy driving distance of long sandy beaches, the fascinating cities of Jerez and Seville and many shopping and sports centres. A great base for a holiday to suit all ages and interests.
