Amarilla 7 occupies a prime position on the sunny side of one of 6 plazas on Sands Beach Resort. It opens out onto a patio with small garden and beyond that just a few feet away is a beautiful communal pool, with gently shelving entrance & secondary pool for toddlers. The accommodation is all at ground floor level and comprises the following - a double bedroom, a lounge/diner with sofa bed and fold away double bed, kitchen with dishwasher, full oven, and fridge freezer, bathroom with sunken bath, shower and bidet, separate dressing room with twin basins, shaver points and vanity area. Sands Beach Resort has all the facilities you need for a great holiday including, swimming pools on every plaza, a heated pool by the Mae Tai bar restaurant/bar on an island in a lagoon, a nightclub with nightly live entertainment, a cinema, games room, bars, supermarket, an internet facility, children’s club, tennis, gym, sauna, massage, maid service, laundry service, room service and 24 hr security.

There are many excursions and trips available and these can be booked from reception or from many locations in Costa Tequise. The Sunday market at Tequise, the old capital of the island is well worth a visit as is the Friday evening market in Costa Tequise’s town square. Timanfaya National Park in the south west of the island was the back drop for Raquel Welch in the film One Million Years BC. The unique volcanic landscape is breathtaking and used to be a training ground for Nasa’s lunar astronauts. Perched on top of the Isolte de Hilario Volcano is a circular glassed walled restaurant designed by local artist Cesar Manrique. It offers panoramic views of over the rocky lunar landscape and the kitchens are powered by 300 degree volcanic heat. Puerto del Carmen is a lively resort with plentiful nightlife. Puerto Colero has a marina reputed to be one of the world best, home to fabulous boats, sea view restaurants and art gallery. Arricefe is a must for retail therapy!

  • A 25% non-returnable deposit is required at time of booking. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure. Cancellation up to 8 weeks from holiday – only deposit not refundable. 4 – 8 weeks 50% refund, 2 - 4 weeks 25% refund and less than 2 weeks no refund. A £75 refundable breakages/damage deposit is required with balance which will be returned after 14 days subject to a satisfactory inspection.

We had a fantastic time at The Sands Resort and would recommend the villa without any hesitation it was clean and comfortable and very well maintained,the ideal holiday for families with young children.We will definately return to the villa in the near future.
