Saint-Raphael holiday villa

It is a charming old house, newly renovated, in a small cove. The location is beautiful, the view is lovely and you can hear the waves from the house. The cove is accessible directly from the house by a small stone staircase. Be careful, no sand in the cove, only rocks. Not suitable for very young children.
The house is well equipped, but the shower in one room is equipped with an evacuation pump not enough powerful, which causes inundations.
The stay itself went very smoothly, and we would have rated the location very good, if we had not had such a bad experience with the Agency (the owners were not on site) for the following reasons :
1) The agency was closed when we arrive from the train station. We have been waiting for one hour before seeing somenone to welcome us. 2) Error on the price in the contract 3) Most importantly, during the check out, the Agency engaged in a real control of Police with a very unpleasant tone, inspecting each plate one by one even the dishes that we had not used (!!), claiming that the cleaning had not been done while we had spent six hours on it. Eventually the Agency kept our 1000€ deposit, and sent us a 80€ invoice for the cleaning ! We were very amazed by their attitude that we consider totally inappropriate for a luxury rental... We felt insulted. We notified the owners of the incident with the Agency, but they didn't consider our complain and we still had to pay the extra cleaning.
What a disappointing end of stay...
