Photos and Description of this Remington holiday villa Luxury 4 bedroom villa with pool, convenient for theme parks and golf .

The villa comprises an entrance hall, family room with TV, stereo music centre and DVD player, large well-equipped kitchen with dining annexe, two master bedrooms with shower rooms en suite, and a twin bedded room sharing a bathroom with the fourth bedroom which has ‘twin over full’ bunks. A cot and high chair can be made available if required. Laundry facilities are in the double garage, accessed from the kitchen. To the front is a garden overlooked by a small verandah. A patio window leads from the family room to a cool covered outside eating area overlooking the 50 ft deck and pool to the lake beyond with its abundant wildlife. The pool and its corner spa can be heated if required. The owners regularly use the villa and a number of our guests have commented that it is a real 'home from home'. Our friendly property managers, who live locally, will introduce themselves and are available for advice and help should any problem arise.

15 mins from Orlando airport and 20 mins from Disney,'‘Waterside’ is situated on the gated ‘Gleneagles’ development, part of the select Remington Community which is centered around an award winning Championship golf course. Local amenities are excellent; less than a mile away at the corner of Highway 192 a CVS Drugstore caters for most needs and there is a Chinese take-away nearby. Highway 192 to the west is modern Kissimmee’s ‘Strip’ with a wealth of shops, eateries and every kind of entertainment for young and old. Historic downtown Kissimmee is a stonesthrow from here. A couple of miles to the east is St Cloud, with a Wal Mart superstore and a number of chain stores as well as a large weekend fleamarket. Orlando attractions include Sea World and Discovery Cove, Universal Studios, Wet & Wild and a host of shopping malls and outlet stores. Cocoa Beach, the Kennedy Space Centre, Daytona, Tampa, Busch Gardens and St Petersburg’s Dali museum are all within a couple of hours drive.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Weekly rates apply from any Saturday night until and including the following Friday night. All other nights are charged at the nightly rates. Rentals of less than 7 nights are subject to a £65/$US90 cleaning charge. $US rental rates are exclusive of and are subject to Florida State 7% Sales and 6% Tourist Development taxes. A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the rental cost (including taxes) is required to secure a booking. Payment of the balance, together with a security deposit of £200/$US300 is due in full 8 weeks prior to departure. Bookings made within 10 weeks of the departure date are payable in full at the time of booking. The security deposit will be returned in full within 30 days of the end of the rental period, subject to a satisfactory inspection report from the management company. Payment may be made via PayPal by credit/debit card (3% surcharge) or e-check or by mailed sterling cheque drawn on a UK bank. Full Terms and Conditions are supplied with the booking form.

  • The two en-suite shower rooms have large walk-in showers, w.c.s and spacious illuminated vanitory units. The third bathroom is directly accessible from bedrooms 3 & 4 and has bath with shower, w.c. and separate illuminated vanitory unit. Hair dryers are provided in all bathrooms.

Bedroom 3 has a large built-in closet, and is fitted with twin beds, dressing chest and bedside table with lamp. Bedroom 4 overlooks the verandah and garden, has a built-in closet, and is fitted with a 'twin over full' bed and 6 drawer dresser. The optional cot may be sited in here or in either of the master bedrooms.

Notes: This villa is used regularly by the owners, and a number of our guests have described it as a 'home from home' It is, of course, air-conditioned throughout with fully carpeted bedrooms and bathrooms. The hall and family room have cool ceramic tiled floors and there are ceilling fans in the family room, in both master bedrooms and in the poolside 'lanai' so those who like to stay cool have no problem. The full size community pool and fitness room are a 5 minute walk from the villa around the lake.

We have just returned from a very enjoyable and comfortable week at Waterside and it was everything we expected from the description and photographs posted on the website.
Villa : The villa was spotlessly clean and in an excellent state of repair, with an good standard of fixtures and fittings. It was great to have an electric kettle, having been used to a hob kettle when we lived in the USA! The property was spacious and bright, though I think 10 people might find it a bit tight, there were four of us and it was fantastic, though there is more than enough space to sleep 10. Having the three bathrooms was also a great bonus.
The villa was located in a quiet residential cul de sac and we were not disturbed by anyone during our stay. We found the location excellent as we were near enough to all the amenities that we wanted, though far enough away not to be in the 'tourist' area. Shopping was within five miles in St Cloud which was very easy to get to and it had an excellent Publix (supermarket), Wal-mart, Home Depot and Post Office. Our children were also delighted that it also had a Dairy Queen for the mandatory daily ice creams! Using the Florida Turnpike you are probably around 20 minutes from Orland International Airport and 30-40 minutes from Disney, depending on the time of travel. We disn't use the Turnpike, but still found both easily accessible, though journey times were longer.
Pool : The pool was lovely with the morning sun from around 9.30am and the sun setting at around 6pm, though this was of course due to the time of year we were there, it has a beautiful outlook over the lake at the back where there was an abundance of bird life, and it was very private. The pool and hot tub were lovely, though we would recommend anyone visiting in October having the pool heating. The weather was hot during our stay, but the pool was too cold for me, though the children loved it.
We will certainly recommend this property to our friends and family and will certainly be returning in the future. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Had a fantastic holiday and your villa was excellent,the villa was spotless,very comfortable,and the sunset views over the lake stunning,the wildlife around the lake was like watching your own animal program.

For the first time in the U.S. we really enjoyed the stay at Waterside and did not regret a second not booking a hotel. We felt so comfortable and did not miss a single thing. The pool was great! The accomodation is close to Orlando airport and also Disney is good to reach.
We had a perfect time!

Overall this was an excellent choice for us. The house was very nice and well kept. For the same price of a hotel we recieved so much more including a private pool and a lake that was really nice.The house was located not too far from all the attractions and the airport. You would be crazy to stay at a hotel when they charge the same price or even more for a whole lot less. I would also like to thank the property manager across the street for coming over twice and cleaning the pool. We will be back.
