Albufeira:
Albufeira has been, since 1960, the first town in the Algarve to be developed for international tourism due to its 23 stunning white sandy beaches, to the miles of beautiful red stoned cliffs and the rugged coves. The region was elected 'Established golf destination of the year 2006' by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators.
Albufeira offers far more than just sun and sea as it still retains much of a small-town charm. Golf on the Algarve is world famous, the nearest being only 1km away from our apartment's at Corcovada. Because Parque da Corcovada is in the central Algarve it is ideally positioned for access to all the Algarve courses.
Further notes for golfers: Being centrally located, Parque da Corcovada is a convenient base for golfers. The five Vilamoura courses are only 15 minutes drive away. Balaia, Salgados and Pine Cliffs a mere 5 minutes drive. Other great golf courses like Quinta do Lago, S. Lorenzo and Vale do Lobo or Vila Sol are just an easy half-hour drive away.
