This beautifully designed resort is located within a five minute walk to Senhora de Rocha where there are two wonderful beaches with water sports and boat cruises into the spectacular caves along the coast. Beaches such as Benigil and Marhinha, listed as one of the top beaches in the world, are only a short drive as is the historic village of Porches. Ideally situated between Albufeira & Portimao with Algarve Shopping, a big shopping mall, with cinemas, bowling alley,restaurants, and lots of shops only a 10 minute drive. Waterparks within easy reach, for one of which we have a free pass. Zoomarine, a wonderful place for all ages, with their fantastic dolphins amongst many other things, an 8 minute drive. The Algarve is well known for its golf courses, the resort is in a great position for them, 10 minute drive in any direction and you will find a golf course. We have a discount on 5 courses in the area. There are some very nice restaurants, two supermarkets within walking distance.

Patio doors leading to balcony with sea views. Marvellous location. The designer kitchen has cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and a dishwasher. The work surfaces are all high quality granite, and is complete with toaster, kettle, crockery/pans and cutlery. All linen and towels are provided. The apartment is cleaned on a weekly basis. The apartment is situated on the first floor.

Location and local facilities: Areias de Porches Resort is located in the heart of the Algarve with good access to the A22 motorway and the national road network, Faro International Airport is only 40 minutes away. Car hire available. Airport transfers available at reasonable cost. Two supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Amarcao de Pera and Albufeira both offer a wide selection of bars, restaurants, shops and entertainment. A welcome pack can be provided on request at a reasonable cost. The basic pack will include, local bread, milk, butter, conserve, tea, coffee, bottled water, bottle of local wine. Packs can be tailored to meet the needs of individuals.

Coast and beach: There is more than enough private parking to the side and rear of the units. A four minute stroll to two of the Algarve's most beautiful blue flag beaches. Praia Nossa Senhora da Rocha and Praia Nova. A ten minute car journey to local water park.

Special interests: Besides all the local water sporting activities, such as snorkeling, sailing, surfing, deep sea fishing and local diving school, Algarve's beaches are perfect for jogging or even for a calm and quiet walk. Cycling through out the region is a wonderful relaxing way to see the Algarve. Fantastic Castles and Forts almost everywhere! Breathtaking cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with hidden creeks. Peaceful countryside in the mountains still untouched by developers.
