This romantic apartment enjoys beautiful sea views over the Borgo and countryside. It is located in the centre of this hilltop medieval village. Campiglia Marittima is just 50 minutes south of Pisa airport and within easy reach of some of Tuscany's finest beaches. The hot springs of Calidario (36°C) are located 5 minutes away making it an ideal spot for year-round bathing. This unexplored and unspoiled Borgo is packed with endless and fascinating cobblestone streets, arches and is bustling with life and character giving you an authentic taste of real Tuscan Lifestyle. The town has 6 pizzerias/restaurants to suit all pockets and 2 cafés with a number of intimate small shops for fresh food, wine and basic necessities. There are a many festivals and events held throughout the year highlighting with “ApritiBorgo” in August where the entire Borgo becomes a venue for music, theatre, food and arts & crafts. The Rocca (Fort) has been recently restored and is now open to the public.

This is a truly unique and unexplored corner of Tuscany dominated by the fascinating medieval village of Campiglia Marittima with its beautiful cobblestone streets, stone facades and romantic arches. The town has all amenities as well as 6 restaurants/pizzerias and 4 cafes. Some of Tuscany's best beaches are just a 10 minute drive away with the hot springs (36°C) of Calidario just 5 minutes by car. There are also a number of natural Parks nearby with the Island of Elba just a short ferry trip from Piombino. The town is an ideal base for simply relaxing, trips to beaches, wine tasting, or even occasional excursions such as: - Siena in 1hr 30min - Florence in 2 hrs - Lucca in 1 hr 10min - San Gimignano in 1 hr 20 min - Volterra in 1hour.

Authentic scenic Tuscan experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Campiglia Maritima. This is a quant authentic Tuscan fortified town. You brush shoulders with friendly locals and experience wonder food and hospitality.
We found the accommodation to be clean and well maintained. It gave us a coastal fresh feel.
The multilingual owners were very friendly and helpful.
If you are looking for a tranquil coastal Tuscan getaway then this is the place for you.
We enjoyed the charm of living in the original stone paved, walking only village (with the exception of the " scooters" of course), with a more modern interior to the apartment.
Outside the local town, the main attractions are the lovely towns and beaches along the Etruscan coast.
We would happily recommend this venue to our friends.

We went to Campiglia in September and were instantly enchanted by the perfect,though admittedly small appartment.The view from the window by the dining table was breathtaking,and an endless source of entertainment for both my wife and I.The area offers lots of different attractions ,ancient etruscan excavations,medieval hill top towns,the wonderful rennaiscence cities,and great beaches.David was very helpfull and his advice is well worth taking,we'll hopefully return soon.

We spent 1 week in that place: Campiglia Marittima is beautiful, and nice to go during the festival (august). The flat is nice and you have an amazing view, and the owners are great: they take time to explain what you can do and visit around. We had a nice week there, so don't hesitate to book there!

We had a wonderful time in the very pretty town of Campiglia Marittima. The nearby beaches are recommended, particularly our favourite at Baratti. The appartment was lovely, clean and tidy and with stunning views. Very good value for money and a friendly welcome on arrival. Enjoy!

We spent a week in Campiglia Marittima this summer in july, and all I can say that it was perfect. Beautiful beaches, interesting medieval little towns all around, very nice food, lovely people... The apartment is very comfortable with all the comodities it´s needed. We felt ourself like at home. We had a great time here! I can sincerely recomend it for everyone.
