Aureliana offers a superb location just 400 yards from the magnificence of St Peters square and the Vatican City. Located on the third floor of a gracious modern building along side the Gianicolo's walls. The apartment has all the comforts of a home and is charmingly decorated with care. The furnishings are all 18th and 19th century antiques. The house consists of a living room, a master bedroom with queen size bed, a second bedroom with two single (or a double bed, depending on our guest's needs), dining area and kitchenette. There is a full bathroom with tub/shower, gas stove, electric oven, washing machine, iron, colour TV, central heating, linens, towels and kitchen utensil for 4 people. Off the living room is a 6x10 foot terrace with table and chairs where one can enjoy dining next to the palm fronds. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning and free ADSL internet access.

We found the apartment to be clean and well maintained. It was in an ideal location for exploring Rome either by the close by transport links or walking - even late at night! St. Peter's Square was an excellent shortcut home... The nearby restaurants were reasonably priced, but you would be able to make a meal at the apartment if you wished and a good supermarket was about 10 mins away. The terrace was lovely and we made good use of it morning and night. The owner met us on the first day and was very helpful. We would recommend this apartment.
