The location is just perfect in the heart of the famous quarter Saint Germain des Près, ideal to visit Paris and get a real feel of what it is to live like a Parisian. Next door to the chicissime “Le Bon Marché” department store, Rue de Rennes and Boulevard Raspail’s amazing shopping, the famous “Les Deux Magots” and “Café de Flore”. Close to museums, markets, shops, restaurants and cafés, you will feel like a real Parisian staying here! We can give you advice on restaurants and places to go to make your stay really special. It is an amazing historical building but the original oak beams on the ceiling are low. It makes the place very special and cosy but not for very tall people. I and two friends stayed at Petit Recamier for a week this June/July. We had a wonderful experience. It was exciting to stay in a historic property. The apartment was beautiful, very clean and centrally located. It was a short walk to Bon Marche, one of the best food stores in Paris. The owners were very kind and helpful.

In September 2009 my wife and I stayed with a friend in Le Petit Recamier for one week. The apartment was booked through "Holiday Rentals" and all arrangements went very smoothly. The property was exactly as described and in a very convenient and central location. Modern, clean, large bedrooms, large living area, separate dining area, two bathrooms, lots of cupboards and storage space.
The owner was extremely helpful and spoke excellent English ... also very prompt with E-mail communication.
Very close to several Metro stations, shops and good restaurants. Would certainly stay there again.

Very comfortable, spacious well located apartment

Very comfortable apartment with lots of space and good quality bedding and towels. Good location near several metros and near a fantastic deli which was a really wonderful place to shop.

Slight issue on leaving about disputed damage to the apartment but this was amicably resolved and left us feeling able to return to the apartment for our next visit to Paris.

Very historic building which probably makes it unsuitable for small children because of the potential for damage although the amount of space would make it attractive otherwise.

Well decorated, quiet, comfortable, very clean and secure apartment. Modern appliances. Close to Metro and in a neighborhood of great restaurants (try Le Nemrod). Just blocks from Le Bon Marche and other shopping. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Delightful abode

My husband, l6 year old grandson and I spent five days in this apartment. It was delightul--modern convenience in a romantic setting, reminding us of the Three Musketeers. The beamed ceiling, the working shutters, the courtyard's huge wooden doors, all evidence of its past, were complemented beautifully by its 21st century amenities.
