In a sought after and somewhat perched position on the Fromentica hillside, Villa Cléa has been built to take full advantage of the truly magnificent views over the Bay of St Florent across to the coastlines of the Cap Corse and the Désert des Agriates. The main open plan living/dining room, smaller sitting room, bright modern kitchen area and main bedroom all have large windows and French doors onto the terraces facing the bay or the pool. From the inside the views blend seamlessly and the dining terrace, the pool itself and the surrounding decked sun terraces all share the same magnificent environment of sea, coastline, mountains and maquis, the true essence of a magical Corsican experience. The kitchen is modern and stylish and the bedrooms, spacious and airy. There are ample bathrooms to accommodate a larger party, with three of the bathrooms en-suite.

You can walk from one end of St Florent to the other in 10 minutes, and parts retain an echo of the Mediterranean of 80 years ago. Luxury yachts in the marina, stopping off from the Cote D'Azur, offer a more modern sight. It is a friendly town and an ideal centre for beach holidays and for exploring Corsica's northwest coast or the mountain villages inland. In the town centre a maze of narrow streets and passages fills the space between harbour and Citadel, and the town squares, encircled by cafes, looks towards the lively waterfront with its row of restaurants. St Florent lies on a sparkling bay, sheltered between the wild mountains of Cap Corse and the magnificent, untamed Désert des Agriates. Nicknamed St Flo, it is less pretentious and more intimate than St Tropez, with a fantastic atmosphere and many good beaches nearby. Stroll into the old town and discover a charming, timeless “quartier” of old houses, little shops and wine bars.
