A private luxury villa situated in the exclusive district of Montana Roja, Villa 'Casa Mañana' has views to the sea, Fuerteventura and the breathtaking 'Montana Roja'. It is just 10 minutes walk to the child-friendly beach of Playa Flamingo and not much further from the centre of Play Blanca, where you will be spoilt for shops, cafes and restaurants. It has a large living area with two leather sofas, contemporary furniture, TV, DVD player and CD/Cassette radio stereo. For families with babies/young children there is a highchair, cot, pack and play and even an Avent bottle sterilizer. There is a large all-year-round heated private swimming pool. Casa Mañana boasts a large sun terrace, which easily caters for a minimum of 6 sunbeds. There is a traditional brick built BBQ in a Canarian style for those who like the odd steak or two and the villa has a small, well maintained garden, planted with traditional Canarian plants. Enjoy 'al-fresco' dining in all weathers on our covered terrace.

Casa Manana is just a 10 mins walk from 'Playa Flamingo' which has a small child-friendly beach, restaurants, cafes and shops. At Playa Blanca, just a 20 minute walk from the villa, you will be spoilt for eating places; there are restaurants to suit all tastes. 80% of these face out to sea and Fuerteventura, which just adds to that 'holiday feel'! Playa Papagayo's rustic beach is just a little further down the road (15 minute drive). Golfing is available about 30 minutes away at Costa Teguise. A visit to the spectacular 'Timanfaya National Park' is just a 20 minutes drive away. Many of the nearby hotels have spa and beauty facilities if you are in need of some pampering. Arrecifie Airport is 30 minutes from the villa, and taxis are available (single fare from airport to villa approximately 60 euros). Most places are walking distance so it is not essential to have a car, however it would be an advantage if you'd like to explore the island in more depth.

Notes: There are ceiling fans in the master bedroom and lounge area, and all bedrooms have ventilated shutters. For families with babies/young children there is a cot, highchair, playpen and even an Avent bottle sterilizer. Children's DVDs such as Barney, Teletubbies, Lazytown etc. are provided (just in case the pool gets boring!). There is a private, secluded, solar-heated swimming pool (30ft x 15ft). In the event of cooler weather the pool boasts its own heating system to maintain the water temperature at 30ºC, all year round. There are semi-circular concrete steps at one end of the pool to ease you in and make it easier for small children who may not want to venture too far into the pool. The owners strongly advise that children and non-swimmers are not left unattended in the pool and surrounding area. Casa Mañana boasts a large sun terrace, which easily caters for a minimum of 6 sunbeds. There is a traditional brick built BBQ in a Canarian style for those who like the odd steak or two

A fantastic place a real relaxing break!

The villa had everything it was really clean and modern had a good fitted kitchen and a great fridge/ freezer. The bedrooms were really comfortable and bathrooms were good, the pool was clean lovely and warm.The outside terrace was quite spacious with great sun loungers, and you had great privacy when you were sunbathing and in the pool .The villa was in a very quiet location and was very handy to a real child friendly beach about a ten minute walk but the pool was so good we hardly went to the beach!!
The only hassle we had was on the first night we arrived it was about 8.00pm only to discover that the electricity was misbehaving everytime we put the lights on the trip switch went but we telephoned the owner and everything was handled efficiently a guy came round and fixed our problem the only thing is do bring the owners contact number with you as there are no contact numbers in the villa when you get there just in case something does happen!
The villa was very handy to the local bus service which ran like clockwork every half an hour and very cheap it took you right around playa blanca until 10.pm. The taxis are really cheap and easy to get! Playa Blanca itself was a lovely place with loads of good restaurants definately try 'Canaris Tipico' opposite the childrens boat park and' La Rustica' for good pizza.
The volcano is definately a must! go with Last Minute tours they were great!!
The only disappointing thing we did was the boat trip to Papagoya beach the boat turned up late and we only had 45 minutes on the beach definately hire a car to go as it is a fantastic beach and you would probably get a car for two days hire for what you paid for the boat.

I would definately recommend this villa to a family our two kids loved every minute! It just felt like home but with the weather!!

Lovely Secluded Villa

We have stayed in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote for the past five years and just love the place, as do our two young children. The villa was very private as stated, which is always a bonus. Upon arrival the pool was so cold my 2 year wouldn't get in! We called Marie who organised somebody to deal with this but it still took till the Sunday (3 days after arrival) to become warm. The beach is a 15-20 min walk, especially with young children, but once there it's a great beach. The town of Playa Blanca is at least 30-40 min walk, a car we felt was a necessity, particularly if wanting to get food shopping, take the usual buckets, spades etc along to the beach. The sat tv consisted of itv, ch4 and ch5 so would be advisable to take own dvd's etc espcially if have young children in bed like ourselves.

Apart from few negatives above the villa itself was great, everything we could possibly want in a home from home was catered for, rooms were all a lovely size with more than adequate storage. The outside terrace area was idyllic and was well used by ourselves. Very quiet and private, lovely sized pool.

Owner's Response: Comments taken on board but the pool situation was resolved the same day having contacted our trusted Pool electrician within 5 minutes of recieving the phone call.
It was the 1st time this situation has happened and so far the last!
There are plenty of childrens dvd's and adults too!
Satelite televsion provides ITV1 ITV 4 and channel 5 plus a few others and sky news etc.
If you wish to recieve more channels (although i'd think that you would much rather be around the pool, at the bar or on the beach!) you can take your own sky card and put into the sky box at the villa which will give you a few more channels.

Excellent location with great facilities

We stayed at the villa for 7 days and were delighted, the location was central and easily accessed, the villa was very private not overlooked at all, very safe and absolutely fantastic for our 8 month baby with all the baby accessories one could ask for. The kitchen was well equiped and the bedrooms well layed out with a central lounge. a great place to relax, would definately reccommend, Excellent correspondance and prompt replies to questions from the owner. Many thanks for a great break!
