Photos and Description of this London holiday apartment A beautiful, quiet apartment close to the museums and all transport facilities.

This apartment, on 2 floors, has a living room, three double bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is at the rear of the building and so does not have traffic close by. The entrance hall (ground floor) leads to the living room which has direct access to a large, private garden square (enclosed and safe for children). The separate kitchen is modern and fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave and everything that a real cook would need. One of the double bedrooms is also at this level as is an elegant shower room and WC. Stairs lead up to the first floor with a bathroom, (shower over the bath) and two bedrooms (one double, one with a double and a single bed and having access to a small balcony). The underground station at Gloucester Road (direct trains to Heathrow) is 5 minutes' walk, an enormous supermarket is 2 minutes' walk and the South Kensington museums are also within walking distance.

Notes: The apartment is on the ground and first floors at the back (non-street side) of the building with direct access from the living room to a large (secure) garden square. A dining table and chairs are provided for al fresco dining. There is a library of books, DVDs and some CDs with the stereo system having facility for an MP3 player. Regarding guests with mobility difficulties, there is a bedroom and shower room on the ground floor but there are a few steps at the entrance to the building from the street. A large supermarket is within 3 minute walk and the main London museums are within walking distance.

The apartment is very conveniently situated for public transport (Piccadilly, Circle and District lines of the underground system - 40 minutes from Heathrow). The museums are about 15 minutes' walk away and Knightsbridge (Harrods, etc.) about 20 minutes. The garden square with direct access from the apartment is fenced and secure for children.

Took two teenagers and a 5 year old as well as an exhuasted pair of teachers for a half term break. We all fitted in just perfectly, kitchen really well equipped and the access to the comunal gardens was perfect. My 5 yr old loved that space! Fab big Sainsbury's just up the road, tube 5 minutes away, Kensington Gardens, Natural History Museum in walking distance. Princess Diana Memorial Playground in Kensington Gardens was brilliant for young children
