Les Crosets sits at 1700m, providing excellent access into the Portes du Soleil ski area. This is one of the largest ski domains in the world, with access to over 650km of pistes and includes the ski resorts of Avoriaz, Morzine, Les Gets, Chatel, Morgins and Champery. The notorious ‘Swiss Wall’ – a mogul-lovers dream - is only 2 lifts away yet this area caters for all abilities from beginners to hardened snow hounds. Snow boarders are also well catered for with a Snow Park in Les Crosets itself and other parks across Les Portes du Soleil.
Les Crosets is an easy 1.5 hours (120 km) drive from Geneva, with motorway to within 20 km of the resort, while good local transport links make access by train simple.
In the summer there is an extensive network of walking and mountain biking trails. The 2007 Mountain Biking World Championships were held in Champery, only 15 minutes drive away. There are a wide variety of summer tourist attractions nearby, including Le Bouveret Aquaparc, Glacier 3
