The villa comprises on ground floor:- large twin bedroom with wardrobes 1 Double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and ensuite jacuzzi bathroom, 1 shower room with jet shower cubicle, Large Living room with Sky TV and hi-fi, Utility Room, Dining Kitchen, Dining Room, marble staircase leading up to upper level - Master Bedroom with fitted wardrobes with patio doors leading to open roof terrace, family bathroom with jacuzzi bath, large Twin Bedroom with fitted wardrobes. Access to roof terrace can also be obtained from upper landing. Outside patio area with barbecue, pool with 8 sun beds, gardens, driveway, electric gates and alarm. The property is within 5 minutes walking distance to town centre, shops and beach.

Carvoeiro is a small fishing village with many good restaurants and bars. From the villa, there are three roads leading to the town centre, shops and beaches. From the town centre, you can either drive, take a taxi or a local bus to lagoa, portimao. For the children you can take a boat trip, visit the zoo marine or the large splash and slide. There is lots and lots to do in carvoeiro and the surrounding towns.

Great Family Holiday Home

Four adults and four young children shared this great holiday home, which is well equipped, spacious and has good outside space. The pool is a good size and was very clean, if not a little bit cold, but that did not stop the kids (33 year old boys) going in it! Good access to Carvoeiro, which has a nice range of restaurants and a stunning beach, which is about a 10 min walk with small children. I would recommend this to anyone and would certainly go back.

Living like a millionaire!!!

What a truly outstanding villa Amendoa is. The interior furnishings for example are the most classy and tasteful you'll find anywhere. The whole property was immaculate when we arrived and was maintained throughout our stay, not only by the friendly maid but also by the gardener and pool cleaner.

Carvoeiro is a family friendly wee town and I'm glad to say not the kind of place where you'll find the raucous 18-30 type holidaymaker!! The centre of the town has undergone a facelift since last year and now has street entertainment most nights, from traditional Portuguese performers to street artists and market stalls. There are literally tons of restuarants to choose from but I'd say among our favourites are Taste, Ela & Ele, Casa do Bife for a stone steak and also A Vela for the suckling pig.

The walk into town and the beach from the villa is about 15 mins and downhill, this can be challenging on the way back but once you've climbed the hill then it thankfully flattens out.

We'd certainly recommend this villa to anyone looking for something special as it has everything you'd need along with all day sunshine.

Nice villa to rent for the summer

We really enjoyed our holidays in this marvellous villa. Both pool and garden have pleased all of us. The villa was cleaned very regularly and the personal was really nice. However we didn't have enough dishes for cooking... We found the town of Carvoeiro somehow too touristical but nice for shopping. We recommend this rental to all families, even with young children (just keep your eyes on them when they're swimming :))...) ! One more advise : go to the Zoo Marine in the area, we spent a splendid day in this aquatic and zoological park.

This villa certainly gave us the WOW factor on arrival. I have stayed and rented may villas over the past 12 years and this is one of the best yet.

The location above the village gave views across the valley and towards the sea.
It was in a very quiet area and reasonably (10 to 15 min walk) close to the centre of the village.

Plenty of off road parking for your vehicles(s)
The villa is in the sun from dawn to dusk.

Great kitchen.
Security and privacy was spot on.

I would not hesitate in recommending this villa to friends or family.
