La Grange is a large 300-year-old converted barn that combines rural French character with its stone masonry and exposed oak beams with all the trappings of a contemporary stylish living space. 4 Bedrooms arranged over 2 floors sleep 8 people comfortably (or 10 if the sofabed in the open plan living area is used). Double downstairs bedroom with en-suite shower room-no stairs! The lounge features a 42'' widescreen TV, with British satellite TV channels and a DVD player. We have a range of DVDs, games and toys suitable for all the family to enjoy. The 10m private swimming pool (shared with La Petite Maison next door) is great for kids and adults. It's a natural saline system which means no nasty chemicals are involved, plus it can be heated if necessary. We have taken care to install the necessary gating (not shown in photos) and alarm security systems so that younger children can't get into mischief. Full-length double-glazing and electrically-operated Velux windows provide plenty of light to the main space, which is cool in the summer due to its south facing orientation. In the winter, underfloor heating downstairs and electric storage heating upstairs provides cosy respite when you return from a bracing ramble. The open plan ground floor of The Barn is an impressive space with high ceilings looking up to remotely-controlled Velux windows. The lounge features a 42'' widescreen TV, with British satellite TV channels and a DVD player. We have a range of DVDs, games and toys suitable for all the family to enjoy.

Tennis and golf can be found within easy driving distance. Horse riding and fishing is also available nearby.

There's also a separate downstairs toilet. Upstairs - A galleried staircase takes you upstairs to the remaining 3 bedrooms. From the top of the stairs you can really appreciate the generous proportions of the living space. Bedroom 2 (double with attached en-suite) A double room featuring Velux windows - so you can see the starry nights - and an attached en-suite shower room with power shower (which is shared with Bedroom 3). The en-suite is large enough to hold an infants' cot if required. Bedroom 3 (twin with attached en-suite) A twin room with Velux windows, a chest of drawers for storage and pretty soft furnishings. Bedroom 4 (twin) and attached bathroom Another twin room with storage and a window out onto the rear of the property. The room is attached to a bathroom.

There's a barbecue with kitchen utensils which - alongside a glass of decent red - is a great way to round off the day as the sun sets in the distance. Cars can be parked in an allocated area for The Barn and the House which will securely accommodate 6 cars.
