Apartment/ flat 4 - 5 persons. 7 rooms , of which 2 Bedrooms, Open-plan kitchen, Living room, Dining room, 1 single room (on demand) , 2 bathrooms. Amenities - Freezer, TV, Microwave, Refrigerator, Fridge freezer, Shower, Bidet, Books, Cellar, Hairdryer, Vacuum cleaner, Heating, TV socket. Additional services - Bikes for hire and Reception desk at meter 2000, Airport transport upon demand (ask us for the cost) . Best points - A beautiful historical 100 square meters apartment, in an historical palace inside the Walls of Lucca. The townhouse apartment , recently restored , is in the city centre of Lucca, next to the main monuments and museums (near the house of the compositor Giacomo Puccini). It is in a quiet street; it has a private independent entrance and it is decorated with frescos, and the original furniture offer the reserved atmosphere of an acient noble mansion. We have tickets for the The first Festival dedicated to Giacomo Puccini: 1 hour and half opera highlights.

The apartment is situated within the historical walls of Lucca, nera the Guinigi Tower and the Anfiteatro Square. The house of Puccini Giacomo compositor is close by. The main museum are near the flat. Versilia beaches are easily reachable by train, bus or car - Viareggio is 20 km and Forte dei Marmi is 31 km. The train station and the bus station is very near. The nearest airport is the Galilei International Airport in Pisa ( half an hour).

Excellent location, close to town centre, apartment cool during summer - no need for aircon. Great for touring region and easy to get to Florence, Pisa, the mountains and the coast. Roomy with good facilities and equipment, two good size double bedrooms, though at ground floor and occasionally a little noisey - but not enough to cause major problems, just the occasional passing car. Two excellent shower rooms, only major improvement I would suggest would be to provide some comfortable seating in the lounge area. All you have at present is a table and chairs, and a chaise longe. The proprieter Gabriel was very helpful in providing advice about the area and suggesting restaurants.
