The 'Villa Isla' is located 1km from the centre of Nerja at the base of the Punta Lara urbanisation. It's just a 5 minute walk to the beach or a 20 minute walk into Nerja with its many fine tapas bars, restaurants and shops. With views from the wrap-around terraces towards the Med and a huge roof terrace that provides visibility to the Sierra de Tejeda mountain range, this villa is situated in a prime location for a sunshine holiday. Summary: 4 bedrooms (1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and 3 twin bedrooms), Guest bathroom with two sinks, full size bath and shower, Luxury fitted kitchen with granite worktops, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, Newly installed air conditioning units in lounge and two bedrooms, 42' flat screen TV with Sky (British channels) and DVD player. The Villa Isla is located in the urbanisaiton of El Paso at the base of Punta Lara. Just 1km from Nerja, the villa is in a great location to access the beaches, bars and restaurants of Andalucia. The urbanisation of El Paso was built in 2006 and consists of 5 bungalows and 5 town houses. The Villa Isla is at the end of the group of bungalows overlooking the landscaped gardens and swimming pool. Please note the the pool is open from 1 April to 31 October each year. Just a 5 minute walk takes you to the road that links Nerja with Torrox. There's a regular bus service but it's only a 20 minute walk into Nerja centre. Alternatively cross the road and you're on one of Nerja's many beaches. There are a few bars, restaurants and shops near the 4* Marinas De Nerja hotel.

Two of the twin bedrooms have two single beds divided by a bedside table and mirrored wardrobes. One leads onto the terrace. The third twin has plenty of space for a cot and is in the quietest part of the property.

Notes: Part of the terrace is covered by an awning over a large glass table with seating for 8 people. There are views from the terraces towards the Mediterranean. A BBQ is provided on the terrace. The roof terrace is accessible by a spiral staircase. There is ample space for sunbathing. The accommodation exists on a single level (excluding the roof terrace) and therefore the property is suitable for some disabled guests. There is a single step near the front door only. There is limited wheelchair access to the pool area. A garage is available under the property and there is off-street parking opposite the urbanisation. Linen and towels are provided on a weekly basis (excluding beach towels). The property is inspected and cleaned by maid service prior to your arrival. If you wish to arrange additional services then these can be discussed during the booking process.

Maro: A small village on the eastern side of Nerja, Maro is famous throughout Spain as the location of a group of magnificent caves. Discovered by young boys in the 1950s, the caves are a popular attraction. They host concerts in the summer. Look out for the adverts throughout Nerja for upcoming events. To give you an indication of just how impressive these caves are - they are Spain's third most popular tourist attraction, the main cave is estimated at over 4,000 metres long, there is a burial chamber which has been determined to be over 8,000 years old and the caves contain some of the largest examples of stalactites and stalagmites in the world. Maro itself is a picturesque whitewashed Andalucian village perched on clifftops with a small secluded beach. There's a few bars and restaurants which are good value.

Frigiliana: Head 4 miles inland from Nerja and you'll reach Frigiliana - an award winning Andalucian hillside village. Originally a Roman fort base and then a Moor community it's a great place to spend a couple of hours pottering around the cobbled streets looking in the antique and curiosity shops. The bars and restaurants at the front of the village are overpriced though.

Ski: The ski resorts at the Sierra Nevada are only 90 minutes away.

Golf: The Baviera Golf Course is only 15 minutes away at Caleta de Valez.
