Elegant and confortable apartment, on the sixth floor (with lift from ground floor to fifth floor) of a 1900 building. The entrance is corso Vittorio Emanuele II, in the hearth of Roma Barocca. From the three meravellous terraces you have a wonderful view of all Rome at 360°. The sunny, bright and spacious apartment, has been completely renovated and equipped with all modern comforts: air conditioning, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave. It has a chestnut crossbeam ceiling and a woodden floor, that make the flat original and charming. The furniture, that matches modern style pieces with some fine antiques, is very elegant and comfortable. The apartment can fit up to 5 people, perfect for a family o very close friends, and consist of a bedroom with a double sofabed, a large leaving room with dining area for eight, a double bed and a sinlge bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a bath with shower. There are also three splendid terraces with plants, flowers and wonderfull view.

Within easy walking distance are the Spanish Steps, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Venezia, Campidoglio, Colosseum and Imperial Forums. Cross the bridge on the Tiber River and Castel Sant'Angelo and San Pietro's Basilica are at reach and Trastevere is just a short walk away. El departamento es muy bonito, es perfecto para 4 personas, todo esta muy limpio y ordenado, Giovanni es un excelente anfitrion, nos dio muchos tips, es muy amable y educado. El departamento esta cerca de muchas cosas, Sta. Maria Maggiore esta a dos calles caminando, el Coliseo tambien, solo sales del edificio y esta el metro, a media calle hay un restaurante delicioso que nos recomendo Giovanni, la gente del restaurante es muy amable tambien, hay un supermercado a media calle, puedes cocinar sin ningun problema en la cocina del departamento, esta muy bien equipado, el ba;o y la regadera estan muy comodos,lo que nos parecio perfecto es que el departamento tiene computadora con internet, eso es genial, el lugar es muy seguro, mis hijos, mi esposo y yo lo disfrutamos mucho. Volveriamos ahi en otras ocasiones.

Large apartment in Rome

Very large rental. The building was very quite. The bedrooms were spacious and bright. Only 3 blocks from the train station. We took the subway (very close, right at the corner) and every place else we walked from this apt.(Colosseum very close) some places of attraction were pretty far but if you're a walker it was no problem. Kitchen well equipped. A large grocery store -about 2 blocks away. Restaurant right around the corner was recommended by the owner- very good food and service. Negative comments: the heater was just a bit noisy I did get use to it, you don't have a view unless you climb the 3 steps up to the windows, we were only given 1 bathtowel for 4 nights.

Centrally located

This centrally located apartment is within a block of the beautiful Santa Maria Maggiore and the smaller ,but equally interesting Santa Prassede.We also walked to the opera house for a ballet performance. The Metro station entrance is right outside the building entrance, and you can also walk to the Termini. There is a direct train, to and from, the airport at the Termini as well as trains to all parts of Italy. The apartment is well equipped for preparing your meals. A large supermercato is a is one block away and the huge indoor market(fruits, vegetables,fish, meat, cheeses, etc.) is only 2-3 blocks away.
We rented the apt. over New Year's and were very pleased with the excellent heating system. The apt. is suitable for 4 people(maybe 6) at the most. At the time we were there the TV was not operating properly. All in all, a great spot for a visit to bella Roma.
