Three bedroomed newly decorated comfortable farmhouse in peaceful Hamlet. Five minutes by car to the beach. Close to picturesque fishing villages of Ault and St Valery, unspoilt sandy beaches at Cayeux and Le Crotoy, historic battlefield of Crecy. 40 minutes from Dieppe. Accommodation: Ground floor - large lounge with three-piece suite (includes double sofa bed). Spacious dining room adjacent to new kitchen with fridge freezer, microwave (oven), electric oven/gas hob, washing machine, WC. Top floor - Two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, all with fitted wardrobes and electric radiators, carpeted throughout. Bathroom/shower and separate WC. Shower room with W.C. Other facilities: Barbecue, bicycles, courtyard, front garden with patio, garden furniture and garage. Telephone. Ideal location to see: Rouen: Monets House/Lily Pond garden at Giverny, D-Day beaches, unique bird sanctuary at Marquenterre, Paris and EuroDisney.

Nearest Ferry: Dieppe at 40 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Le Treport at 15 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: Junction 24, A16 at 32 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 1.0 Kilometres
Car: necessary
The farmhouse is just over one hours drive from Boulogne and one and a half hours from Calais. The front garden with patio terrace is ideal for al-fresco lunches and relaxing with a glass of wine. It is usually easy to walk to the beach through the Marsh (unless it is flooded). Take your camera because the Bay of the Somme is renowned for its prolific birdlife, especially during the seasonal migrations. As an alternative to walking, feel free to borrow one of 8 bikes (all sizes including childrens'). The nearby town of Ault (5 km) has an excellent bar-brasserie and a very good restaurant overlooking the sea. We have been letting the Farmhouse for 17 years and our visitors have made many kind comments and suggestions. We encourage you to add to it.

  • Public Holidays, including Christmas, New Year, Easter, May and August Bank Holidays are priced at £370 per week (one week minimum).
    There is a £40/week discount for staying a second week in the High Season.
    At other tomes of year the discount will normally be £35/week for a second week.
    Repeat bookings also attract a £40 discount.
  • Deposits: A 10% non-refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking.
    In addition there is a £200 refundable deposit against keys and accidental damage.

This is an ideal place to relax and enjoy your holiday. I would recommend this holiday home to anyone except people with disabilities as the stairs are quite steep to the bedrooms. The location and facilities are spot on and two cars can park under shelter very easily. We will certainly go back again.

A fantastic find

Not 100% sure what we were expecting given the farmhouse is close to Calais and the area doesn't normally rate as 'choice destination' but we had a wonderful 2 weeks based upon very reasonably priced and practical accommodation in a beautiful area.

The property is very well appointed for a break. It is practical with some high points like the kitchen and shower room. The views from main bedroom are quite spectacular !

The owner gives enough information and ideas to make sure you know what/how/where and if that all fails there is a 'caretaker' nearby who can help you out. Everything worked and the support from the owner was the best we have ever received

The property is gated so the kids were able to play outside, our stuff felt safe and it is a pleasant place to sit out in the evening.

Bikes are available to use which can get you down some of the unmarked roads or along the road into nearby towns.

Nearby some very nice towns such as Eu and Treport and beaches and slightly further afield to Amiens and Fecamp.

All in all, a lovely farnmhouse, very reasonably priced in a lovely area. The major selling point is the support you get from the owner. It would suit most people and the guest book seems testament to that
