Sant’Agata sui due Golfi is located, as the name itself suggests, between Naple’s and Salerno’s gulf on the top of Sorrento hills and offers a beautiful view as well as nice excursions for trekking and riding lovers such as: Baia di Ieranto, Punta della Campanella with the ruins of Atena’s temple, San Costanzo mountain and Crapolla’s fiord.
Sant’Agata is the ideal place also for who loves the sea: by bus in 10 minutes you can reach Marina del Cantone, crowded by a lot of VIPs in summertime thanks its good restaurants, too. By the way, although a small town, in Sant’Agata there are three very important restaurants even mentioned on the celebrated Michelin guide book. “La Taverna del capitano”, “I Quattro passi” and “Don Alfonso 1870” are famous all over the world and there, it is possible to eat typical sea food dishes, local cheese and good wine.
