Hidden within the hills just outside the town of Giarratana is this typical 200 year old Sicilian stone cottage. This beautifully restored property offers a secluded and cosy getaway, ideal for couples. Enter the property into an open-plan living and kitchen area that includes an open fireplace that is still in use. This space is cosy and comfortable and is decorated tastefully including centuries old farming tools, once used locally. The bathroom including shower is found on this floor. There are bunk beds at the back of the room, available for extra guests. . There is an out-house that offers alfresco dining, a wood-fire oven and a laundry room. The pool is private and situated at the rear of the cottage.

Giarratana is a lovely small town situated in the south of Sicily, a great spot for viisting Siracusa , Noto, Modica and Ragusa Ibla. The lovley sicilian property is situated in a very rural spot , but just one mile from town , there are several supermarkets and a 2 banks in the town. The countryside is very beautiful and unspoilt and some areas are part of a national park.
