Le 111 is a traditional 18th century village house with lots of history and character. Lying in the heart of Provence, nestled between Avignon, and the Ventoux, le 111 provides quiet and authentic south of France village life while being a few minutes away from a vibrant city. The 3 south facing apartments which bask in the glow of the Provencal sunlight are set within the grounds of the owner's estate, dating back to the eighteenth century. The large swimming pool is shared by the guests at le 111. The estate is surrounded by trees and is magnificently landscaped including olive trees, laurels, cypress to name but a few. Each apartment also features a private terraced area with outdoor dining and lounging furniture. If living in the heart of a bustling Provencal village is your dream, then these apartments are for you. The apartments have recently undergone extensive renovation.

A beautiful appartment with large french windows opening on the terrace, the garden and the swimming pool. Fully renovated in 2008, the cosy appartment is perfect for a couple. This place is all about space, and light. The wide french windows in the kitchen and bedroom flood the rooms with the Provence sunshine. The equally spacious kitchen can accommodate an extra sofa bed if the need arises. This lovely apartment is perfect for a couple who appreciates brightly lit and spacious rooms.

Le 111 St. Saturnin

We had a fantastic week in our one bedroom unit at Le 111. The pictures provided were up to date and the space was bigger than expected. The units have been renovated in the past year so everything is up to date.
Everything was spotless and we were well looked after with lots of attention to detail including wooden hangers and extra towels for the pool.
The wooden shutters provide excellent cooling and the french doors opening from the bedroom and kitchen/living area let in a pleasant breeze at night.
The olympic-type pool was a big plus after a day of sightseeing. We ate outside every day on our patio and overlooked the view of the pool, olive and fig trees as well as beautiful landscaping.The cicadas serenade you through the heat of the day. The local bakery has great croissants and baguettes that we picked up each morning...what a treat! Favourite local restaurant La Margarelle is within easy walking distance.
There was so much to see and do so we barely scratched the surface. We went to vineyards, toured ruins (favourite Les Ancestrales at Glanum), visited famous sites such as Pont D'avignon and our favourite Pont du Gard, had wonderful lunches by selecting the plats du jour (favourite La Reine Jeanne in St. Remy en Provence). The sun and light are an artist's inspiration and we visited the aslyum at St. Paul de Marisole where Van Gogh stayed and saw an exhibit of his worked projected on huge rock faces of a quarry at Cathedrale des Images. Les Ventoux mountains provide hiking opportunities.
Located about 20 minutes from Avignon, this gite combined the best of charming country living with easy access. We have recommended it whole heartedly to family and friends.

Arriving at le 111, it was as beautiful as the website pictures portrayed - azure blue pool, lovely landscaping and a stylishly decorated apartment.

The apartment was very spacious and fully equipped to meet our needs - we prepared most of our meals in the kitchen and enjoyed eating outside on our own private terrace.

The apartement, which is within a few minutes walking distance from the village centre, is ideally located for visiting the area - with many attractions within a short drive away - including beautiful hill-top towns, many wineries to sample the local plonk (Chateaunuef du Pape!), historical villages, beatuiful scenery and even kayaking on the Adeche.

However, our apartment was so comfortable and the pool so inviting, that many days itineries were forfeited for simply lounging around at Le 111.

Amy made us feel very welcome and the apartment was perfect for our summer holiday. We will definitely be recommending Le 111 to our friends and family and hope to return ourselves for another dose of Provence.

Our family of four recently enjoyed a fantastic stay in Le 111(3). The apartment was clean and well equipped - the real highlight being the
gorgeous pool which was very refreshing in the south of France heat.
We were extremely well looked after by our hosts and really appreciated their tips on the surrounding region. The apartment is located in an authentic French village complete with three boulangeries and its own market. To be recommended.

We stayed in the smallest of the 3 apartments, which was extremely spacious and had all we needed for our week. St Saturnin is not a touristy village but is still very nice, and ideally located for touring around to Avignon, Arles, St Remy, Les Baux, Aix and Mont Ventoux. The garden and pool are lovely and the owners were extremely helpful. The apartment was lovely and clean and we would highly recommend this apartment for a holiday in lovely Provence.
