Le 111 is a traditional 18th century village house with lots of history and character. Lying in the heart of Provence, nestled between Avignon, and the Ventoux, le 111 provides quiet and authentic south of France village life while being a few minutes away from a vibrant city. The 3 south facing apartments which bask in the glow of the Provencal sunlight are set within the grounds of the owner's estate, dating back to the eighteenth century. The large swimming pool is shared by the guests at le 111. The estate is surrounded by trees and is magnificently landscaped including olive trees, laurels, cypress to name but a few. Each apartment also features a private terraced area with outdoor dining and lounging furniture. If living in the heart of a bustling Provencal village is your dream, then these apartments are for you. The apartments have recently undergone extensive renovation.

The apartment has been totally restored and redecorated. It combines traditional Provencal architectural features and design with all comforts and conveniences. The apartment includes an open room with a kitchen, living and dining area. It is bright with large double glazed windows overlooking the garden and swimming pool with access to its own terrace for alfresco dining. In the living area there are comfortable armchairs and a wood dining table make the room warm and inviting. The living area has a library for you to enjoy. Adjacent is the well-designed kitchen with all appliances, cutlery, utensils and dishes. Completing the apartment are two large bedrooms, which can accommodate a family with two children or two couples, and a full bathroom. An ideal pied-à-terre for experiencing life in a Provencal village.

Our stay at "Le 111" was just perfect. The apartment was, in each and every detail, as shown in the pictures - actually, it as even better, as the two bedrooms turned out to be more spacious than one could tell from the photos.
Everything was clean, and everything was functioning - stove, microwave, fridge....The books on the shelves were also a nice surprise - it was great to have a chance to read Paul Auster in the original language. Last but definitely not least, the pool was really the icing on the cake - after a long day in Provence's sun, a good swim was the best way to relax before having dinner.

Mon mari et moi avons séjourné dans le gîte n°2, au 111rue du Ventoux à Saint Saturnin lès Avignon du 6 au 12 juin dernier. Après une année particulièrement stressante, nous voulions un endroit calme et agréable, déconnecté des tracas quotidiens, au soleil et dans un site touristique. Nous pouvions trouver tout cela dans ce coin de Provence bien sûr, mais ce fut un de nos séjours les plus réussis.
Nous avons séjourné dans un appartement entièrement neuf, joliment décoré,respectant le style du pays, offrant tout le confort souhaitable"comme à la maison". Un salon de jardin permet de profiter de la nature et en quelques pas nous plongions dans la piscine, après une journée de balades culturelles ou récréatives, c'est très agréable! Et ce qu'on ne trouve pas toujours à ce point, un accueil des plus chaleureux: nous nous serions crus dans notre résidence secondaire retrouvant de charmants voisins. Merci Amy et John, à l'an prochain: 100% sans hésitation!

Our stay at Le 111 (2)

Le 111 was the perfect setting for a well needed rest ; wonderfully calm and peaceful after a very stressful year
The apartment is expertly decorated in Provencal colours with coordinated linen and many thoughtful extras, such as: a personalized guide of the area provided by the owners, a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival and the corkscrew and even a salad spinner!

The location is amazing, not only for tanning and swimming in the magificent pool, but for many exciting excursions around the rich Provencal countryside. The One Eleven is right in the village, five minutes away from great bakers, a butcher and grocery stores and is also within walking distance of 2 excellent little village restaurants. It is also an extremely convenient spot to visit places. You could head out for the morning, come back for lunch a dip in the pool, a nap and head out to another site in the afternoon..

Last, but certainly not least, is the warm welcome that the owners provide. John and Amy were attentive to our every need and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay a memorable one. I recommend the One Eleven unreservedly and will definitely be back next year.

We enjoyed our stay at le 111(2) very much!

Apartment was nice and very clean! Highly comfortable is that bed-, bath & kitchen linen is provided, even towels for the swimming pool; pool is very nice and clean and always 28C°!

The place itself is very calm - perfect to relax. The property is situated in a quiet area of the village. The village is not touristic buth lovely. Errands can be done in walking distance. On Sunday there is a lovely market.
Place for parking is always available just before the house.
Good location from where you can do several day trips in the area (Avignon-Mont Ventoux-Gorges de la nesque,...)

The owners are very nice persons and offers all sorts of needed information! They are very helpful and easy to contact any time when needed. Amy is so welcoming and friendly that you feel at home immediatly!

We would highly recommend this apartment and hope to return!
