TRAVEL INFORMATION PROVIDED:
Travel and local information provided. All travel information and suggestions for your arrival and check in will be provided to guests booking the apartment and there is a welcome book (provided in the apartment) with the local tours and suggested walking itineraries in the area, local information and suggested boat trips, boat and bus timetables, recommended restaurants and interesting local traditions. We can also provide an excellent, reduced rate transfer service to and from airports and rail stations, in luxury Mercedes cars and English speaking drivers.
We also have a very good local chef, who will happily cook a deliciouse meal using local products.
FAMOUS NEIGHBOURS:
It is 10 minute walk to the the 'Villa Oleandra' the villa acquired from the Heinz family by George Clooney, and George has been spotted all along the lake, often mixing with the local people, jogging and riding his 'Harley davidson' along the lake road. The Villa Fontanella, once inhabited by Gianni Versacci is 5 minutes drive away. Many Italian film stars, singers and football players have also chosen beautiful Lake Como as their home or holiday home.

You will find a very helpful information . You can also call me and ask if you are stuck for ANYTHING! In Tremezzo, just 15 minutes drive or 20 minute boat ride away, is the Villa Carlotta with its very important botanical gardens and as I have mentioned before in Lenno 10 minutes away is the Villa Balbianello, the most beautiful villa on the lake which was used for the filming of the latest Star Wars movie. Switzerland is just across the mountains and Lake Lugano, although very different is also very beautiful and offers walks and shopping trips. St. Moritz, the jet-set ski resort, is a few hours north of Lake Como and makes a very interesting day trip. Walking and hiking are very popular, walking along the hills and mountains with a local guide.
