Los Molinos is part of La Manga Club & is set on a gentle hillside overlooking the Mar Menor vista. There are well kept gardens & footpaths with two white windmills a main feature.Properties are traditional & well maintained. The community pool has an additional children's heated pool. The pool bar & restaurant is unique within La Manga Club & is open from Easter until October. Access to the pool area is restricted to owners & residents only A short distance away is a choice of beaches some with water sports. Local markets, shops, restuarants, bars & sports facilities abound. Situated on the Costa Calida(warm coast) the weather is usually warm & pleasant throughout the year having its own microclimate unique in Spain The nearby historic towns of Cartagena & Murcia are well worth a visit.There are now many budget flights to both Murcia (25 minutes) and Alicante(75 minutes) with easy motorway driving. 5 kilometres away is the natural park of Calblanque with its own beach.

  • The large en suite off the main double bed room has two wash hand basins & a large mirror. The downstairs bathroom(2) has recently been completely modernised with a walk-in shower. The 3rd bathroom upstairs is new.

Notes: The villa has two new TVs with full access to over 50 channels including BBC 1,BBC 2,ITV, Sky Sports(all channels), Setanta, Sky Movies,children's channels. There are two hairdryers. Change over day is normally Saturday but on request we may be able to be flexible. Rental costs are inclusive of air conditioning, electricity, bed linen,towels & weekly cleaning. The supply of extras such as high chairs, cots & any mid-stay cleaning & additional changes of linen can be arranged at extra cost. Initial provisions(milk,bread etc) can be obtained from the garage shop which is open until late. We have a very close relationship with our management company. The partners of this business are Sara Millbank & Lindsay Bryan. Their aim and our aim is to allow you to have the best ever holiday. So whatever your requirements we will try to meet them-airport pick-ups, baby sitting etc Keys are collected from a secure safe on the outside of the villa accessed by a four digit code.

There is a luxury spa offering sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, spa treatments & a gym & fitness studio.It also contains an indoor 25 metre pool. There are many restuarants and a number of bars in the resort & many other places to eat locally.The lively Piano Bar at the 5 Star Hyatt Hotel is open until the early hours of the morning.

Activities: La Cala beach & other local beaches, water sports, cycle hire, children's mini club, crazy golf,football academy, cricket etc Choice of gourmet and family restaurants,coffee shops,other shops, hairdressers, banks, lawyers etc

Tennis Centre: The La Manga Club tennis centre has some of the best facilities in Europe being the winter HQ for the English Lawn Tennis Association.It provides excellent coaching which can be arranged directly with the club. 28 courts,mostly floodlit, are available with clay, astoturf & hard surfaces. Equipment can be hired & there is also a fitness centre, sauna & jacuzzi. 'Residents' enjoy a 50% discount on court hire.

Our lovely holiday

Just returned after a relaxing 2 weeks at this villa. Everything was just as described. It is a well equipped villa with great views from the balconies. There was air conditioning in every room and as it was so hot we really needed it. The villa was lovely and clean and only a short walk to the pool which you have a key to. The main pool was busy and my 16yr son spent his time there along with all the other 16 & 17 yr olds! Plus it was much further to walk. So stay in the Los Molinos pool much nicer. At Bellaluz Square there is a supermarket with a meat counter which had everything we needed. This is a lovely square with a fab resturant - El Bisto. There is a pizza takeout place but that is round the back near to El Bisto with no signs. (Only found it on our last evening out!) There are other bars and cafes there as well as some shops.
Lindsay at La Manga 4U (Managing agents) was so nice and helpful so don't be afraid to contact her if you have any queries. Also, it was so nice of the owner to telephone us during our stay to make sure everything was okay.

Great Holiday!

I stayed at the villa during the Easter Holidays with my two youngest children, aged 10 and 7, we had a fantastic time.
The villa was spotless on arrival and offered all that we could possibly have hoped for. Sky Sports and Setanta a huge bonus for us as we all love sport!
We ate in every evening as the kids were exhausted after our daily routine of tennis, swimming in the pool ( I managed to escape this part as the water was a bit chilly in April ) followed by football at the Academy with some crazy golf thrown in for good measure. The washing machine was well used!
I found the kitchen to be well equipped, we bought chicken, burgers, sausages and bacon from the local supermarket, all good quality.
Both children are desparate to return so we have booked again for Easter 2010. I would recommend the villa for a sporty, sunshine break, or, a relaxing holiday if you go without the kids!

I have just stayed at this villa in March 2009, I found the location was ideal, walking distance to all of La Manga Club's facilities, I went with two friends, having our own rooms and own bathrooms was a really treat. It was really nice having your own private space to escape too. With plenty of room in the lounge for us all to get together. I would recommend this villa to my friends, I would stay there again without hesitation.

We have stayed in this villa many times and always found it spottless & well maintained. The location is wonderful & the views from the terrace at the back & the rooftop are stunning over the Club and the Mar Menor.
We last stayed in December 2008 & the weather was so good we had breakfast outside in the front terrace, it is a suntrap at this time of the year.
The facilities are excellent & Sky TV on flatscreen TV is great for any sport fans. The kitchen is well equiped incase you want to eat in and there is also a barbeque on the rear terrace.
La Manga is a lovely place with many first class restaurants, especially The Hotel, you should try Sunday Lunch there.
Los Molinos pool is a short walk from the villa & the pool bar staff are very friendly, really good for lunch & tapas.

Recommended La Manga holiday villa

We have rented this villa on a regular basis for both main summer holidays and Spring/Autumn breaks, and its ideal for either. Its set amongst beautiful landscaped gardens close to a really nice communal pool and bar area only 2 mins walk. The villa is in a quiet street which is ideal for relaxing with a nice terrace and balconies which are great for bar-b-ques, dining al-fresco or just having a drink with friends. Theres also plenty to do if you are looking for some activities including golf, tennis, beach, shopping and places to visit. Ideal for families with kids or groups of adults who will find it a home from home. The villa is very well presented with everything you'll ever need from books & games to DVD's and TV's including SKY SPORTS!! We will certainly book again and have no hesitation in recommending this villa - you won't be disappointed.Jim & Christine.
