Lovely converted convent over three floors,wonderful high ceilings, big rooms, only 50mins from Soho/Covent Garden. Perfect summer holiday self-catering rental for up to eight. Dishwasher, wi-fi, massive TV. Set back from the road with off street parking for 2/3 cars, the front is planted as a kitchen garden which you are welcome to harvest during your stay. Fabulous sitting room with piano, table seats 8, huge french doors to the south-facing back garden with patio,chairs and table, lawn surrounded by shrubs, looking out onto green tree-lined open space, making it very peaceful. The house is just five minutes from Muswell Hill Broadway with its wide range of restaurants, cafes, clothes shops, supermarkets, delicatessens, toyshop, music, fine cheeses, and cinema, a great fishmonger and butcher next to beautiful Highgate Woods. This is a wonderful family house but good for a large group of adults too. Plenty of room for dinners and entertaining, or enjoying the house with kids.

North London, Muswell Hill, 50mins from Central London on bus and tube. Easy access from London stations, especially Euston and King's Cross, and airports, especially Stansted. Muswell Hill is a lively London 'village' with a great set of local shops within a short five-minute walk from the house. Travel to central London is easy with all that Soho, Covent Garden the West End has to offer. This house offers woods and 'village' life within a short distance central London. Good bus connections to Highgate Tube then a 25 Min's tube ride to Tottenham Court Road. The house is close to historic Highgate Wood (10mins walk) with nature activities, paths, playground, playing field and cafe, Coppetts Wood (5 mins walk) lovely natural woods, and a short bus ride to Highgate Village and wonderful Hampstead Heath offering Kenwood House art collection,restaurant, swimming ponds, great heath and wood walks and views of London. Crouch End lido for summer bathing, Alexander Palace for ice skating.

  • The first bathroom is a smart, good size bathroom en suite to the master bedroom. A bath with shower , washbasin and toilet with a big mirrors. The second bathroom is also a tidy, good size family bathroom with bath/shower, washbasin, toilet. A mirror, shelving and cabinet.

  • The four bedrooms are all double in size. The master bedroom is on the first floor and is very big measuring 290 square foot, with high ceilings and two grand sash windows, with floor length curtains, looking over the front garden. It has a TV, and a sitting area with arm chairs and a table with desk chairs. Ample fitted storage with wardrobe and cupboards, and an ensuite bathroom. The room opposite is closed for storage and will not be open to those who rent the property. The floor space of this room is not included in the total of 2250 sq.ft. The other bedrooms/bathroom are on the second floor in the eves. Built in bookshelves on the landing and a spectacular double sash window looking west over the roof tops, making the house very light. Bed 2:lovely room to the front of the house,double bed, two person sofa,massive TV,wardrobe,chest of drawers and fitted desk space. Bed 3: two single beds. Notes: This a great family home with lots of room for children to move around. Great location for local walks, and shops to keep kids interested. This is also a beautiful house for you if you want to enjoy dinners and grown-up company with plenty of room for entertaining. It is well equipped and great for eating and entertaining as it has a huge oven, a lovley kitchen table for everyday eating and a big dining table in the sitting room. The sittign room is impressivley large with wonderful, bright windows onto the back garden. The house is airy and light throughout. The door front door is wide and the hallway is big too, making it easy to move around, store a pushchair or just come and go witihout bumping into eachother. There is a downstairs cloakroom toilet. The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, juicer, dishwasher, washing maschine, and a dryer, fridge, freezer. And plenty of kitchen ware.
