Disappointment!!

The contact we had through the site was not with the person who owned the property and we only found this out after sending our final payment. We were assured by the contact that the owner spoke english and that we should 'phone her when we arrived at the church near to the property and she would meet us with the key. The owner didn't speak english and knew nothing about meeting us and it was only the fact that our daughter could converse with her that we headed in the general direction of the property and Catherine (the owner) came looking for us!
After many hours of searching the internet we thought we had found a property that was big enough for our party and all four couples could have a separate bedroom with either a double or queen bed. Although advertised as having four double bedrooms, the one room only had two single beds, one of which was very short and only had a thin foam mattress. This was very annoying and upset the whole party, one couple had a very inferior room to the other three. We were also advised by Evelyne, the contact on this site, that the property had wireless broadband, it was imperative that two in our party could keep in contact with stock market via their lap top. There was no internet within the property!! Also, the photographs that we saw first on the web page showed the tennis court by the pool area, on arriving and finding no tennis court we were advised it was in the owners garden but we could use it. The photograph has since been changed!!!! The site also advertised a daily maid service which was not provided. In general, the property had been converted well, it was very well stocked and in pleasant surroundings. The incorrect description of facilities caused inconvenience and reduced the holiday experience.
