The lively, friendly village of Porto Heli embraces two truly beautiful bays, many kilometres of beaches at Ververonda (close to Villa Boukadoura), the sandy bays in Hinitsa and Limenakia as well as the myriad of coves and bays at Kosta and St. Emilion that face the islands of Spetses and Hydra. The village itself has a wide choice of restaurants, tavernas, bars and nightlife. One of the nice things about the area is that you can choose to join the bustle in the village or relax in a quiet beachside taverna. You can play beach volley ball, waterski, sail, windsurf and wakeboard, or find a nice quiet cove to relax on your own. The excellent climate makes it a year round resort.
A trip to Epidaurus, with its acoustically perfect theatre, can be combined with a visit to the medieval town of Nafplion, first capital city of Greece, then on to the ancient site of Agamemnon’s Mycenae, one of the first kingdoms in Greece. Spetses, with its vibrant nightlife, is a short trip by water taxi.
