A spacious fully furnished 3 bed family villa (sleeping up to 8 people) in the beautiful seaside village of Yalikavak on the Bodrum peninsula. It is part of a small friendly complex of only 9 properties built around a communal pool. The villa is under a 10 minute walk from 2 beaches. The centre of the village with many shops, restaurants and bars is also only a pleasant 10 minutes' walk. ACCOMMODATION: On the ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Within the spacious air-conditioned lounge area there is a 'L' shaped sofa that converts into a double bed, together with TV & PS2/DVD. There is also a toilet and shower room. Patio doors lead onto the veranda that has a built in 'chimney' barbecue and overlooks the pool. On the 1st floor there is 1 double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms as well as a large bathroom with shower and washing machine. Two of the bedrooms share a sun terrace overlooking the pool. There is also a large roof terrace.

The delightful resort of Yalikavak is under 1 hour from Bodrum airport. It is an ideal place for families and couples who are seeking a holiday in a safe, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. It is home to fisherman and sponge divers and the marina is a haven for small yachts. Yalikavak has several small beaches stretching out from the centre of the village where you can swim in the clear water or soak up the sun on the free sunbeds. The Harbour has a collection of waterside cafes and restaurants - food ranges from traditional Turkish, fresh seafood to burgers for the kids. Thursday is Market day in Yalikavak. You can buy fresh fruit & veg, spices as well as hand crafted fabrics and carpets, and not forgetting the fake 'designer wear'. There is a good selection of small shops and supermarkets in Yali. Daily boat excursions on traditional wooden gulets leave Yali Harbour for a variety of destinations. The bustling and cosmopolitan town of Bodrum is just 15 kilometres away.

Excellent Holiday Villa

We had a fabulous holiday at this villa. The villa was exactly as described and perfect for what we needed. The villa is very well equiped with everything we needed and more. The complex is nice and small so the pool and surrounding area never felt too busy. There is small shop about 5 - 10 mins walk away so you can go and get lovely fresh bread every morning and many supermarkets close by.

Yalikavak was the perfect size for us - not too big and not too small - many different restaurants and bars to choose from without being over-whelming and you still felt you were in a village rather than a big resort type place. It was a slow 10 min walk into the main centre.

We all would thoroughly recommend this villa for a holiday.

I and my children stayed for one week at this villa. We have no complaints and the villa description was accurate. I can recommend it - we had a good time and enjoyed the Turkish sun allthough it got quite hot. .

Excellent villa.

The villa was excellent very well equipped and with some nice touches. We were very well looked after whilst we were there by a british neighbour who was extremely helpful. The villa is in a good location only 10 minutes walk into the village centre and near to a supermarket. The views were lovely across the valley and the roof terrace was great for sitting out on starry nights. Overall all 8 of us enjoyed our stay and we will be recommending the villa to friends and family.
