Tredethy cottages sit in a pretty courtyard, located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, close to Bodmin Moor. Only 100 metres away lies the Camel trail (once an old railway track),now a popular Cycle and footpath,17 miles long, leading from Poleys bridge to Padstow. Some of Cornwalls best attractions close by include; The Eden project 15 miles, Lost Gardens of Heligan 21 miles, Polzeath beach (surf school and restaurants) 12 miles, Padstow (Rick Stiens seafood restaurant and picturesque harbour) 13 miles, Lanhydrock house (National trust house and gardens) 7 miles, Pencarrow house and gardens (strawberry picking and cream teas!) 1 mile,and Fowey (boat trips,kayak excursions and self drive motor boats) 16 miles. Lands end is only 1.5 hours by car, so to explore all of Cornwall is easy from our great location. HAPPY HOLIDAYS.

Very comfortable and cosy cottage. Excellent standard of cleanliness. Features: Comfortable sitting/dining room/ with T.V and DVD player. Smart open plan fully equiped kitchen. Traditional bathroom with W.C, bath with shower over and wash basin. Good size bedroom , with double and single bed, views over the courtyard from the small Juliet balcony. There is a small lawn area to front of cottage for sitting out and enjoying the relaxation of the surroundings.Full central heating and lots of hot water as required. Gas, Electric, bed linen and towels included. Sorry, No smoking, No pets.

Our Mews cottages are situated in a delightful courtyard setting that have been carefully restored and offer well appointed accommodation, in the heart of the Camel Valley. From the moment you drive over the 15Th century Helland Bridge and approach Tredethy cottages you enter a world of tranquility far away from the stresses of everyday life. The spectacular beaches,coves and coastal footpaths lie within 6-8 miles north and the south riviera can be reached within 12miles. The Eden project can be reached within 15 minutes and other locations include Pencarrow House ( 3 minutes), The Lost Gardens of Heligan ( 30 minutes) and many National Trust properties such as Lanhydrock lie in close proximity. Other attractions nearby include horse riding on Bodmin Moor, golf for all standards and fishing. The popular Camel Trail ( cycle and footpath) meanders along the river, through woodland, and along the estuary to Padstow and this can be accessed in just a stone's throw from the cottage.

Eine hübsche, gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit allem, was man im Urlaub so braucht. Sehr sauber.
Die Vermieter sind super nett und helfen jederzeit mit Tipps und Informationen weiter (die besten Pubs, der nächste Zahnarzt, die günstigsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten usw.).
Auch die Lage hat uns gut gefallen: Man kann von hier aus sowohl den äußersten Westen von Cornwall als auch das Dartmoor und Devon mit dem Auto ziemlich schnell erreichen.Das Auto braucht man allerdings unbedingt, denn das Cottage liegt sehr ländlich und es gibt keine Busverbindungen nach Tredethy.
Wir können das Cottage allen empfehlen, die gerne auf dem Land wohnen und nicht auf den Rollstuhl angewiesen sind (wegen der Treppen zum Schlafzimmer und Bad).
