Il Vecchio Tasso is a beautifully restored country house, with original foundations dating back to the 14th century. Situated at 450 metres above sea level in the heart of the Sibillini mountains. The farmhouse comprises of 6 bedrooms, all with en-suite, sleeping a total of up to 16 people. Boasting a large dining room, capable of catering for up to 24 people, with air conditioning and fireplace. There is also a large fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, gas hobs, fridge, microwave, meat slicer etc). A sunlit arcade overlooks the tranquil landscape with stunning views of the area. Here it is easy to relax and let go of the stress of everyday life as you enjoy the charm and peace of the surroundings. There is a large floodlit summer swimming pool (open June until September) including sun loungers, garden gazebo with tables and chairs, table tennis and outdoor BBQ area. There is also a converted barn as a multi functional room where you can watch DVDs, play darts etc.

Thanks to the central location of the farmhouse it is easy to visit tourist towns such as Ascoli Piceno, Fermo and Macerata. Only a 10 minute drive away is the start of the National Park of the Sibillini Mountains. Where it is possible to go trekking, light walking, skiing and sight seeing. Within 30 minutes drive you can find the famous beaches of Porto San Giorgio, San Benedetto del Tronto and Porto Sant' Elpidio. Here you can go Scuba diving, sailing, snorkling and visit the local bars, restaurants and disco's. Nearby there are also various shopping centres and lots of discount outlets, such as Prada, Tod's, Armani, Hogan and many others.
