Pastorelli building:
This is a stunning apartment with an abundance of carefully sought out fixtures and fittings making it a refined residence with copious classical French charm. The apartment owners are successful style photographers and their fantastic eye for stylish living is not lost here. Taking the high ceilings, classic coving and parquet flooring as their inspiration they have lovingly furnished this apartment in its grandiose style whilst making no compromises on comfort.
Pastorelli kitchen and iving area:
The American kitchen in oak units and a white worktop hosts a dishwasher, a built-in combination microwave oven, built-in fridge freezer, electric four-ring hob and extractor fan, kettle, toaster, and stainless sink. All necessary utensils are provided to cook a family meal. A mahogany dining table with seating for four with period chandelier above is to be found at the far end of the living area. The open plan living area has been carefully designed with comfort as the first priority without compromising at all on style. The living area has a luxurious cream fabric sofa with coordinating cushions, two mushroom-coloured damask upholstered chairs, and a classic French coffee table. A Louis Philippe-style sideboard hosts a 20-inch LCD screen with cable TV (French channels and BBC World), i-Pod dock, and a DVD player. There is also Wi-Fi access. A chandelier, a large rug, table lamps, and lined linen curtains at the large French double-glazed windows complete the look.
Bedrooms:
The master bedroom hosts a king size (160 x 200cm) bed with bedside tables and table lamps, a wardrobe, a large mirror and an occasional chair. Again, to complement the parquet flooring, high ceilings and huge French windows with shutters, the bedroom benefits from stylish heavy lined curtains and cushions. A fantastic bonus here is the small balcony with a small table and two chairs – al fresco breakfast perhaps?
Next door, the second bedroom, bigger than the master, offers two single beds with decorative hanging Provençe-style blinds, period bedside tables with lamps and an occasional chair. A large antique gilt framed mirror sits above a unique hand painted chest of drawers with a mahogany wardrobe completing the picture. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle, wash basin and WC in the same cream and brown tiling of the main bathroom.
